Default This years rally

Im a little steamed I just caught onto this. last night I saw the true life jank on mtv and now Im hooked. even though I dont know if I'll have enough time to save up enough money for this years rally. however, since you all (whoever is rallying) will be coming through my hometown (chesapeake, va) maybe I'll will get a chance to drive over to the hotel you all are staying at and see some of your whips. I want to enter this years rally sooo bad, I just got a 2001 jetta 1.8T wolfsburg edition and Im seriously stoaked on using it in this rally, either this year or next. I am seriously going to try and raise enough money to enter this year but if worse comes to worse, next year, its on.

now for some questions I have, anyone know any sponsers looking to sponser a vw? and how do you go about asking a company to sponser you? just come out and ask companys who you think might be intrested?

oh and by the way anyone looking for a good co-driver or want split the cost and enter with me?

I'll let others deal with the sponsorship question. I generally suggest talking to companies you already have a relationship with. THis year is going to be GREAT, i highly suggest getting in if you can.

I believe some people are looking for co-drivers, especially if you have the car.

Chris

Yea, shops and performance suppliers are usually a good start, and who knows, they may even throw some parts your way.

If you dont mind other people driving your car, i know that there are some on the forum who want to go but dont have a car and are hoping on riding in a pink limo...

Go to the shop that you have had relations with in the past. Last year I didn't get any $$ from my sponsor. But I did get thousands of dollars of savings in parts from them and they continue to treat me with A+ service and give me discounts. Stay away from my sponsor please.

Nick
