All the cars I have owned I have tooken them to their top speeds and they were/are all stock. I live in Canada, so km/h.

1996 Chev Silverado EXT Cab, 160ish then governor kicked in
1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, 190, no governor...
1996 Z24 Chev Cavalier, 170ish then governor kicked in, will be adding things to it before rally

no shit. cool so you went like 118 mph. Well i dont wanna push the engine tooo hard cause its leaking oil need a new motor. But i dont have the money right now to pay for the motor i want. A nice new edelbrock v8 =D.
Speaking of pick up trucks doin high speeds...... anyone own or tried out those new Chevy silverado SS models. Since their a super sport and supposedly built for speed i wanna see what kinda numbers they can make. and not only that but how about the chevy SSR.

Hate to call BS, but... No fucking way, unless you go by KM/h in Philly.

This is a quote from the fastest open road racer on LS1tech (big site.) He has a full open road race prep SS.

the ss and ssr mos def look good but i prefer the dodge ram srt 10 and the F150 lightning in terms of performance.

thats a tight looking rig but i have heard the cars performance sucks. Would be a nice rally/show rig if could do some stuff to it to make it better looking and perform better. =D

beautiful truck. Definately could turn heads as you pass by

again beautiful and could turn heads....... i like em. just hope they dont get too futuristic looking like some of the cars coming out these days.

well its suppose to be a super sport style truck probally why it has SS in the SSR name Super Sport something. but Its just a Super Stylish Rig as its just a show car for all i am concerned. The local chevy dealership still has thiers want i think it is 46 grand for it. they also have like 2 new vettes ready to be bought buy someone.. One hard top and one removable top......... both i believe around 54 grand a peice but dont hold me to that

There was just a thing on tv about the ssr, it seems to be a real pile performance wise and it is way tooo heavy, in upwards of 5000+ pounds. Right now the srt-10 is the ish to beat, unless ford whips up somethin nasty with their new lightning.

1987 Grand National: speedo goes to 85, the old chip limited it to 140, hit it, new chip is 160, too scared to take it that fast.
1998 Hummer: governed at 83, on a big hill pegged the speedo past 100.
2003 WRX: 140 governed
2004 STi: 153 governed
2001 Jaguar XKR coupe: 155 governed
1960 Corvette: hit 100 and backed down, it was way to scary in that old thing.
