You can't really sum it up without losing most of the humour. He was a delusional kid who completely ignored it when he was proven blatantly wrong. He called a stripped, modified car "stock" because the internals of the car weren't touched.

i always thought that having any mods considers your car no longer stock.

And having internals i would called having a built motor if you will

Event Type Autocross / Solo
Event Date(s) 18-Feb-2006
Event Description/
Schedule *Suggested arrival time: 7:30 AM
*AM registration: Opens at 8:00 AM, closes 9:00 AM
*Course: Opens for walking around 8:00 AM

Once we hit about 100 people, we will be forced to revert to our old summer format; Run a heat, skip a heat, work a heat. (So, if you choose to run 2nd heat, you will be working 4th heat and vice versa.) We reserve the right to change the run groups/format prior to the driver's meeting at the event due to weather conditions and/or event turnout.

Notes:
-Please be advised that it you show up after registration closes in the morning, you will NOT be able to register for the remainder of the event like you were able to during our 2005 summer series

Well once you kill some old people or put some individual in a coma you might understand.

I do not see how you stupid idiots think you can race across the country driving fast and endagering everybody.

There is a thing called a race track. Please keep it on the track and endanger your life not mine. I almost got hit by one of you crazy bastards on I70 yesterday and I had 3 kids in the car. I hope that Illinois state trooper gave you one hell of a ticket. I know this does not matter at all in your view points. But I am going to e-mail this web site to every state trooper to be on a watch out for you bastards.

What is so lame about someone getting killed???
When it happens not if it happens
Oh never mind that it is more publicity for you chosen few to mess up other individual’s lives. I guess you think that would be cool?
I guess I am just really pissed off from my family almost being a causality at your own little stupid racers gain. I would like to think my families life is little bit more important than a stupid race. Like I said earlier keep in on a track and off the interstates!!!!! You fast and the furious wana be's

So you are the Jackass in the Minivan that tried to run me off the road huh?

And why were you trying to do that with three kids in the car. (There is an item called a brake in your car. Use it. By the way, we got it on Video, so we will be in contact with a civil suit shortly.

No I am not the guy in the minivan! I would never do anything to endanger my children! I would not want to stoop to your level of childish type driving.

"And why were you trying to do that with three kids in the car. (There is an item called a brake in your car. Use it."

Take your own advice use the brake most likely it is the middle pedal in your car. I am sure you spent alot of money for them brake use them more often. I did see one of you get pulled over which I laughed hard.

I agree on some of "hateyousonbitches2" comments, it is obvious that some of us drive inconsiderate of other drivers that are simply commuting and obeying posted speed limits and exhibiting courteous driving habits. If I’m doing excessive speed and I come up behind a driver who chooses to observe the speed limit and is passing a vehicle in a reasonable fashion then I won’t tailgate or flash them, I try to stay back and give them the opportunity to pass and get over. Generally though people drive on the road like they are the only ones using it and don’t consider the intentions of other drivers/vehicles.

I personally have a blast running the countryside with other car enthusiasts at top speeds, but not at the expense of other drivers on the road. I try to limit the "cut-offs" and "median passing" but there are some instances when people blatantly hog the road to prevent us from getting by. In which case it's necessary imo to take drastic measures.

Speed limits have minimal impact on the safety of those that know how to drive, it's the people that don't observe common driving courtesies such as driving on the right, passing on the left or moving past the vehicle you are passing expeditiously to allow the traffic behind you to proceed past you in the manner they choose, be it fast or otherwise. There are sections of road in Germany that have no posted speed limits and it is well known that if you are not passing stay in the right lane and if you are make sure you do it quickly. In many states they are implementing laws that allow officers to pull over and ticket drivers that drive the left lane without passing. It’s just fundamental driving and it’s important for all drivers to drive for the conditions; meaning if there’s heavy traffic it’s probably not a good idea to swerve in and out of traffic and it really doesn’t get you that much farther ahead anyway; likewise during heavy/bad weather. If I blow by you doing 150 in the left lane your safety is not jeopardized, but if you speed up to purposefully not allow me to pass you just because you don't want to be passed by some "fast and the furious wannabees," than you my friend are in the wrong.

"If I blow by you doing 150 in the left lane your safety is not jeopardized"

I disagree Any body driving 150 MPH on the interstate is jeopardizing everyone’s safety including his own! I see a car just to go by really fast then at the same moment a deer jumps out in front you swerve to miss and you run into me. Anything can happen and yes this can happen at any speed. but at 150 MPH you have a lot more momentum to hit me and other individuals and cause major destruction.

"Speed limits have minimal impact on the safety of those that know how to drive"

Disagree again sorry but I know how to drive and put me on a race track with your ass I will show you. But keep it on the race track. There is many people that know how to drive. It is not that hard. Many of you have cars that have all kinds of motor mods and such and that makes you a better driver? WHo says you know how to drive better than the guy in the lane next to you? Who says that you know how to use the mods you or a mechanic bolt on effectively and efficiently? What type of education do you receive that tells me that you are a better driver than the person next to you? Do not tell me school of hardnocks because that is BS

"In many states they are implementing laws that allow officers to pull over and ticket drivers that drive the left lane without passing."

Illinois is one of these states! And this is the state where I observed this terrible behavior and dangerous driving from this group of people.

Thanks for trying to be considerate of other drivers but it only takes one to turn the apple sour. In this case it was three of your cars.

I see that you give some of the money you guys raise to a good cause. THis is just internet research.
