Default When we get to NYC

Since this whole rally is going to be taped, i was going to get my car detailed so it looks clean before the rally, but i know its gonna be a mess by the time i get up to NYC. I was wondering, if they are going to do a quick wash before they put all of the vinyl decals on the car. I was just curious as to if anyone knows exactly what the deal is with that.

We will probably just use a quick detailer in the places where the stickers will be applied. Please don't show up caked in mud

Hahahahaha. Smokin blunts maybe, but the only thing you'll be stretchin is your wrist!!! hahaha.
Nah, it wouldnt be caked in mud, but if you know bmw's you know you cant drive more than 10 feet without cakeing your rims in brake dust. I was just curious about that stuff and i will be at the double tree drinkin hennessey the night before.

Do they make EBC pads for your cars? I have a set on mine, amazingly dust free. Stops a bit better too.

They do make an alternative to bmw pads for my car, but i've been told by several bmw service and parts guys that they will void the shit outta my warranty if i change them. Mintec makes a low dust brake pad i wanted to try out of the bavarian autosport catalog.
The stickers are so the sponsors of the rally get advertising. I wouldnt worry about putting them on your car, my buddy had them on his clk430 from the gumball and they came off with a pressure washer and left no marks.

all the stickers we will be using will come off without any issues. we're car nuts too so we wouldnt put anything on your car that would ruin the finish.

Gunitbimmer ----- Go ahead and get aftermaret pads, bmw cant void your warranty for that. In fact, they arent even warranted parts.

BMW covers everything including brakes in their warranty was what i have been told by my dealer. If my pads and rotors need replacing under warranty, its all covered.
