Default Vette round two!

Well I'd say my stage 1 build consisted of heads/cam/bolt on/N20 for the engine, a built 3.90 diff, spec 3+ clutch, sparco seats, harnesses, 4 pt bolt in bar, and a few other things. Did this about 3 years ago.

Round 2!

Well my plans changed as I found out the 427 block I got had a cracked sleeve. So I decided to go another way. Sold off my AFR's and decided to go with a nice small Gen IV LS3. Also sold my rear fenders off with a set of flared ones coming. I'm shooting for 550whp NA and maybe 800-900 on N20. :shoot: Anyway this is how she sits now. I need to remove the short block still, it is just sitting there waiting on my buddy's cherry picker.

LSx M3 LoL


The LS3 should be delivered in about 3 weeks. I can't wait.

Test fitting the new fenders...disregard the 4x4 gaps, there isn't any engine in the car plus the suspension isn't compressed at all.

Black rears are factory Z05 18x10.5 with 295/40/18s, the Kodiak wheel is an 18x12.5 with 335/30/18s on them.

I will probably sell them all and get something with a really aggressive offset. I'm thinking Work VS-XX's 18x13's with a -17 offset.

Oh, I see how that is a little misleading, the black car has the same fender flares as the ones I purchased. She is staying Red. I can't wait to get her finished, tuned and hitting the streets! Thanks!

Very cool! What heads / cam combo are you going with to hit 550 N/A? Has anyone managed that yet? I think C6DVL has the record right now at 525 with trickflows...
Are you forging the bottom end for that 300 shot of Nitrous?

It is a forged stroker with 418 cubs, blue printed and balanced, everything is forged, L92 square port heads CNC'ed and hand ported. N20 pistons & rings, all arp studs, fast 102 ported with the new fast 105 tb.

Texas Speed did this set up...mine should have a better intake and exhaust so I'd love to see numbers closer to the 600 mark na.
