Wow, what can I say? I just finished watching your little program, and I've got to tell you, that was by far the funniest thing I've seen in a long long time. Now, where to start....hmm how about an entire dis-regard for any form of inteligence, common sense, and any form of appreciation or knowledge on the cars you drove. Now I understand that MTV probably skewed the truth a little, but I'm sure its not too far off the truth. First off, what did you people expect by going on a cross country rally? Did you not expect to get any tickets doing post 100 mph speeds? Did you not expect to get noticed driving in packs and doing high speed manuevers? If you honestly did, I pity your ignorance. You got a ticket for going 13 mph over the speed limit...and you bitched about it, for almost the entire length of the program. You honestly don't know how lucky you are. And moreover, you honestly don't know how lucky you are to own that car. That car is above you and you don't deserve it. Second, learn how to drive. Again, this is only from the footage I saw on MTV, but I'm sure the total quality of driving was close to the representation on TV. Its disturbing how I could smell the feelings of invincibility come from the TV. Not only this, but being that you are all relatively unexperience drivers (I'm guessing that many have never gone to driving school or done any other form of driver's education besides Drivers ED) and when you mix this with high speeds, disaster is bound to happen which can be seen through the numerous deaths within Maryland thanks to inexperience drivers trying to race.
I can't believe more of you didn't get more tickets or face jail-time....I guess thats the advantage of being a minor. Anyways, I'm honestly still bewildered by the show and will be for some time. Learn how to drive, and take it to the track
Thank you for your interest in our event. Let me assure you that there were no minors on the AKA Rally. This is not about racing and having a disregard for the law. This is about traveling across country, meeting new people and having a fun time. Your snap opinions are quite harsh and if you knew these people you may feel otherwise.
You can't honestly think that when you bring together a group of people of this age and caliber, that they aren't going to race or break the law, hell thats the POINT of this type of event. You can cover your ass by calling it a rally, and by jokingly ask the drivers not to break the law, but you honestly aren't fooling anyone.....at least the Gumball and the Players Run (something this Rally will never come close to being) have some form of class to their rally.
I just think this is another example of kids with too much money (of course, not their own money, but their parent's money) who think its going to be cool to be on TV and experience the thrills of high speeds.
Wait till someone dies, then its game over. At least the people in the Gumball and Players Run have saftey equipment to protect them in case of an accident. At 120mph, and no roll cage, your car is not going stay intact. And their cars are actually meant to drive at those speeds, not these bone stock RSX "show cars."
Anyways, I think this is just another fad which HOPEFULLy will die out so that not every young person who is a car enthusiast is labeled a Fast and the Furious street racer.

NO NO AND NO. Yes we went fast but do you think u saw everyone in that little tv show. There were alot of people who didnt drive crazy and alot of people who had fun just doing 70 or 80 in a pack across the U.S. You just saw a TV show not lived the 6 days like we did. ITs tv not real life no matter what MTV tells you.
well last your it was $1500 us for two people but I get your point. The problem is that thay had fun doing it there way . . . not your way. get over yourself
lax01 what rallys have you done what makes you know how to run a rally?
All I Know is that, mtv had x-cams on 3 cars with 3 cams inside, 3 mtv guys shooting, I took a couple hours to put together a 4 min. video that blows that real world bs out the water. www.racingflix.com/getvideo.asp?v=861

chris & seth don't worry its not out of line
No "offense" but you are a fucking moron. You had to have been there to even begin to understand what happened. People helping each other (when kelly and I and a few other people stopped (ABQ-VEG) to elp a: Broken down C5, a WRX, and an M3 with an oil leak.
This wasn't about going balls to the wall. It was a lifestyle for a week.
You speak of "class" when you obviously have no clue as to what you are talking about. The kids in the S4, while we may have had our differences on the rally, were DAMN deserving of that vehicle. It was a stunning car (this coming from someone who owned a (not kidding) $105,000 S4. The M3 piloted by kelly and alicia? My roommate has the identical car. I know Kelly worked her ass of for that car. Both her and Alicia were wonderful people.
Everyone I had to opportunity to hang out with was dedicated to the run, and had a pretty damn good time.

I'm sorry you feel this way.
No amateurs ? Which rally were you watching those women were damn near clueless. I appreciate them risking the lives of me and my family. Enough said
i thought it was funny when the guys in the s4 said they were in first and i could clearly see my friends s2000 in front of them.
if you s4 guys read this dont beat me up lol.
I'm sorry... did you say a $105,000 Audi S4? And these douchebags can't even pop the hood! haha
...there's no way $105,000 was dumped into that S4, I can promise you that.
Yeah you would think anyone that could pilot a 105,000 dollar vehicle could figure out how to pop the hood... oh , throw the book at me S4 guy ... Im eager to hear...
I enjoyed the piece, obviously it could only capture a SMALL facet of what the experience was, but as a piece of filmmaking and as a small window into the event, it was fun
The program was scewed to show the views of three teams that participated in the rally and also edited to show a weeks worth of events in one hour. Im sure a lot of stuff got edited out hell it had to or else we would still be watching it. I would have liked to see more sondbites from other people who participated in the rally though and make it a overall documentry of the event rather than the experiances of the three teams. But thats just me. On the whole i would say it was a good piece and would be likely fun to run in the future so you could see how the participants interact with one another.
Damn i cant spell and dont feel like correcting so dont get on my case about it
