I would just like to go on record as believing aluminum to be a metal.
Off the record, change the oil more often than normal, keep an eye on the oil pressure and drive the ol girl till she pops. I'm willing to bet its gonna be a while.
Didn't she eat her rear main seal before Jakey gave her a new lease on life?

So like a week or less? lol. That amount of shit in the oil pan, the bearings are toast.

ouch. Sorry to hear/ see that. I second the putting the pan back on and driving, but only because i probably makes no difference at this point. I wouldn't hold my breath.
FUCK anyone who thinks putting the pan on and driving with a potential oil slick out the back is a fucking good idea. Seriously. That's some of the dumbest shit I've ever heard.

Bye Bye engine bearings... My 1st Subaru motor ate itself in a similar way. It was cheaper to get a new one than to try and fix it. I did an STI engine swap. Come to think of it, an EJ257 might fit in there

Neato! History Channel probably? We filmed that 3 years ago back when I was living in California... It was a great show to work on
I have another one coming out on Discovery Channel this fall. Also did the HV Special effects for "Sorcerer's apprentice" coming out next week...
