Haven't really involved myself lately, actively, with these boards. I just wanted to touch base with some of the local guys/gals and see what do you guys do when there is not an event... do you have meets? If so, I should probably check for a thread about it first, but who likes to have a few drinks? I am in the process of having a little GTG probably in the next few weeks... I'm located in Southern Maryland, on the water... I am thinking if the weather is still fickle like it has been, I was going to have a bonfire party on my private beach front.. very relaxed atmosphere, although there is mainly college students here around us...
So figured I'd re-introduce myself again, my name is Larry, all my friends call me Stu Gotti.. call it what you want.. I drive a 05 tC.. very soon to be boosted so I can join you on the next rally.. It's under the knife now getting another racing clutch put in along side a new light weight flywheel.. M3 Bumper and Dual Halo's are on the way as well. I am hoping I can manage the 6-spd swap tranny they have for our cars, that'll be very beneficial during those long trucks across the country. I believe the next big trip for me will set me right at about 90K miles.
Well.. I have a MySpace for those of you whom do not already have me.
Hey Stu, good to hear from you again.
I am sure some of the local MD guys/Gals will say hello soon enough.
I was reading the weather for the Dulles area and looks like snow on Sunday... BRRR..
I am staying in FL this weekend, so enjoy
Why do they call me Stu Gotti? Well... My first Platoon Sergeant in the Army always butchered my last name, So he called me Stu for short. I'm Italian, so eventually someone started calling me Gotti.. I put two and two together just because I got a good laugh.. Stugotz means "this d!ck" in Italian.. and there you have it.
we should have a rally from NY to Atlanta, GA for the nopi nats next year, would be cool to have a group of the aka cars there. its not as long as a drive as some of the other rallys but it would still be fun.

there's a Super Street Tour that runs from Baltimore to NOPI, Dallas to NOPI and Miami to NOPI every year. Each leg usually boasts about 300+ cars. I think they've been doing it for like the past 10 years.
Yeah, the Super Street tour is nice... I usually drive to NOPI myself, but I stay with my buddies and usually dont catch the tour.. who knows this year.
I did the NOPI Super Street Tour with my buddy and his R34 from NJ to Atlanta last year. It was a good time (once the rain stopped). Basically a decent speed (10 - 20 over the posted speed on average I guess) and a couple of good speed runs 125 ish... but nothing too crazy.
Not sure I will do it again though. Doesn’t make sense to put all the miles & spend the money if I don't have a chance of winning anything. Last year was some serious BS.

Unfortunately they only look at Civics Brent. Can't believe your car didn't win anything.

Yea, I apparently came in 16th for Nissan 350Z (modified) or something like that.. They basically put my car against all the shop and vendor cars... I guess I did not have enough useless aero, interior fluff and a $20,000 paint job
Hell, I'm from Pasadena bro, I used to live in Glen Burnie off of 5th Ave... Graduated from Northeast HS.
Oh word, my brother lives on Oakwood right off of 5th Ave... I still live in "downtown" gb, right by Food Lion. What year did you graduate? I graduated from GBHS in '03 and know a few people from "the 'dena". I got a couple buddies with some modded cars, we should all get together sometime.
