Default Sold the STi for this. . .

The STi; ~$40k invested in aftermarket parts:

The new:
1999 Dodge Viper ACR
Mods:
big brake kit
B&B catback
catless
3M clear bra

My fiancee' and I picked the car up in Texas on friday, drove to St. Louis, then a stop in Chicago, up to a lake in northern MI, then home.
It gets better mpg than the STi, is quicker up top, much louder in upper rpms, and quieter while cruising.

Texas:

Oklahoma:

Missouri:

St. Louis; Ritz Carlton:

Illinois:

Chicago; Ritz Carlton:

Michigan:

Headed back from grabbing the GN:

looks nice. A good friend has one for sale and I keep meaning to get down and take it for a spin before it sells.

From another former modded STI owner (had two fast STIs in fact) who also moved on to a fast domestic, congratulations Bye Bye turbo lag, hello Torque!

Weird question but I thought the Dodge ACR didn't come with fog lights along with a few other non-race essentials?

They don't, or a/c, or radio. But there is a convenience package that replaces those. I also have 96-98 fog covers.

stop. seriously, I do not need to start modding this thing. I have to take off the heat shields to see if there are headers on the car. If so, the only other thing would be a tune on 93. Then headwork or forced induction is required for more power.

I've had highly modded cars before. This one already has all the bolt ons (might not have a tune) possible before going fi or headwork. So it's not getting anything soon, if ever.

Footage will come.
