Shocker GTI is dead - REVmatch

Last night on my way home from the grocery store at around 8:30 my car caught fire and burned to the ground

. The car had been put back to stock short of the intake and software but i believe that the stock turbo setup was not properly reinstalled by the shop. anyone know what kind of recourse i can take against them since... I mean I could have been killed.

Bottom line is my car is toast and I need some suggestions for a new car and I am open to pretty much anything.

(going to take care of the insurance aspect of it today then take some pictures. this is pretty much what I got to watch last night.

The SR video is an old one. He coincidentally has a black GTI that did the same thing yesterday, minus teh videocamera.

and a fire extinguisher, though i had the one my brother got me on hand(the hood had no paint on it by the time i had enough sense to grab it though) my buddy was behind me flashing his brights because apparently i was leaking gas and the road caught fire about 100 feet before i started seeing smoke/flames.

the flames were about 15 feet high within 5 minutes, I was blown away at how quickly everything happened

actually before i took it to the shop that did the professional level fuel system work(putting the car back to stock) I took everything out. I have both harnesses in the garage

the shocker will be dearly missed, too bad that highlighter rig didnt save the day twice. Did you save those sweet shocker rocker panel stickers or did they burn baby burn?

they had been taken off, one was torn in removal the other is wrapped around my heavy bag. i wanted to save the green shocker from the hood but when the guy cut it it was on pre-cut vinyl and i told him not to worry about it because i didnt think i would even want to save it
