It must have been.... hot... before hand.

I don't understand how people spend $x,xxx modifying a car but won't spend a hundred or so on a good fire extinguisher.

When my 20th AE GTI went up in flames I had an extinguisher but didn't use it. I had a shop put it back to stock so I could sell it and they didn't connect a fuel line properly so poof! up in smoke.

I wasn't about to try to save the car and wait 8 months while they try to repair it.

AKA wings burned into the body between the sunroof and windshield

Right above the Rad support you can see where the intake manifold WAS, it vaporized



steering wheel melted in half

factory recaros are toast

MOMO shift knob, its the one that was milled from a block of aluminum

Oil cooler leak followed by fire if I had to guess by the looks of where the fire is.
