Default Racing School?

I heard about a racing school called Skip Barber Racing School, that would be cool to do. Maybe during a 2 day stop do that an entire day or both days.
They have a high performance driving class....just an idea

I've always wanted to include something like this in the event, but they are very cost prohibitive. The 2 day Skip Barber class is almost as much as AKA's full entry fee.

I went to Bondurant for a week in May and it was a blast. We raced race prepared C5 corvettes and Formula fords. i think it was like 4 grand for the class. Definitly a must for any serious driver.

Barber is done in Formula Fords and Formula Dodges.

Skip barber has many different classes. I've been through all of their school programs and have raced in their racing series for a few years now. I know many of the people who work there quite well.

They do run a new driving school with M3s, 330s and 911s, but I beleive that it's only at one track (Laguna Seca in Monterrey, CA).

Most of their other racing schools are done in either the Formula Dodge or the Formula Dodge RT 2000 race car. They are incredible training tools in learning how to drive at the limit and they are so much fun. However, it is costly.

Chris, I know they cater to special events and can customize a half day curriculum for us, so it might be worth asking about.

Yea, to be honest... I will do the NASA and SCCA events first... get some basic knowledge (in my own car) for $225 - 350 for a weekend. Then I might consider spending $3,500 for a 4 day class with Barber or Bondurant.
I looked into these a few years ago, and really figure they are for those who are totally dedicated to racing or people who have loads of money.
