Default Porsche Turbo 930

Not sure on the year, Yet a fine example of a Turbo Porsche.
Late 930 - Thank you MPD47!

I was referring to the Porsche chassis number, not the year.
Anyone know?

It's a later 930. Just before the 965's.

eh..easy mistake. He threw you with the double digits.
You would have expected the see the chasis in triple digits. And I believe the 993 would have been the earliest starting in 99. That car is older no?

Once you get older than 964, I get confused. I really need to brush up on my porsche knowledge.

356, 901, 911, 964, 993, 996, 997 are the basics.
Then you have:
930, 935, 937, 965, 996TT, 997TT

or of the mid engined variety, 904, 908, 917, 956, 962, 911 GT1 (993), 911 GT1 (996), 911 GT1 (LMP), LMP2 Spyder, 986, 987, 550

And then the front engined, and the prototypes, and the other race cars. I figured I'd stick to the basics (and I know I forgot some).

Little trivia, the Porsche 911 was originally the Porsche 901, but the number was changed due to a threat from Peugeot to file suit due to their ownership of the 901 name, so the internal code for the original 911 is 901
