AWESOME... Thanks for the sig bro... I am really trying to make the rally this year, but not looking good. Just started a new job and the first major project goes live the week of July 25th. At a minimum, I hope to make the start in ATL and hopefully meet everyone for the SaltFlat run.
No problem, I already sent the ones Rusty posted. It should just be a sidebar, but we know how this stuff works and it might not even make the article. Keep an eye out though for something in Turbo in the next couple of months.
Well if anyone is interested, the Z should be in the October issue of TURBO magazine.
There is a side article on the AKA rally in there, but as usual, I never get to see it, or the pics before they publish. So I have no idea how good or bad it will be.
This is the 3rd and final article on the car (Sport Z, PAS Mag, Turbo). Took 3 years of work and well over a year to even get the articles and photographers organized. Too much effort for that little recognition.
Dude, you saved my ass last year, I still owe you a night out drinking for that. Honestly, I do not know what I would have done if you had not helped me out. I really apprecaited it.
This is what I try to explain to people, The AKA is not like the Bull Run, or Gumball or Great American Race. The AKA is about a good group of car guys having a great time driving across the country. I would have been stuck there for hours, if not all night, if you and Rusty had not stayed and got the tow truck for me and made sure I could find a place to stay that night.
I owe you both for sticking behind, late at night and helping me out. (This year I have special coverage for towing, rental car and even hotel if something happens.)
This year I have something special for the rally, I hope your joining us, I will let you give it a test drive and see what you think and how it compares to your ride.
