Default Pics of my GSX

I finally was able to get these onto my computer. There were taken last weekend in Atlantic City at a DSM meet. Enjoy.

And what's done to it...

6 bolt motor swap
Oversized valves
ARP Head studs
HKS 272/264 Cams
Bushchur Ported/clipped 16g
Tial 40mm external wastegate
Greddy type S bov
Ported Exhaust manifold
Ported o2 housing
2.5" turbo-back exhaust
Greddy FMIC
Sheet Metal Intake Manifold
Greddy catch can
Greddy coolant overflow can
Injen Intake Pipe
K&N Air filter
Hallman boost controller
Fluidyne Radiator

DSM Link
AEM Wideband
RC 550 injectors
Full SS fuel lines
Venom Hi Flow fuel rail
Fuel pressure regulator

HP Racing 17" Typhoons
Tokico Illumina Shocks
Eibach Springs
Cross drilled and slotted Rotors
SS Brake lines
SS clutch line

Greddy turbo timer
Defi boost gauge
Momo steering wheel
Momo pedals

Carbon Fiber hood
Black interior swap
Greddy Counter weight shift knob
Clear corner lenses

The car didn't run when I picked it up. Fixed a few minor things and changed the settings in DSM Link and now it's running. It still needs a tune up, which I'm working on. I just got the wideband installed this past weekend so I just need to get out and tune it.

I also plan to convert it to the body style my white one was, and it also needs a really good detail. You see every little scratch on black cars

Nice, I like it, only thing I would do would put a front splitter and change or paint the hood.

I like the DSM "bulge" hood better than the style you picked up. But if the vent is functional in removing heat then it is acceptable. Both of my car's underhood temps are rediculous.

Well the hood on my car isn't my hood. It's a loaner hood. I went out for a drive not too long ago and I forgot to pin down the carbon fiber hood the night before when I was working on it. At around 40mph the hood flew up and off my car.

Someone I know is loaning the hood to me until my replacement oem carbon fiber hood comes.

Well other tahn your new hood coming, get a veil side body kit on it or something and a spoiler. just a few suggestions and if you want as i think you have a turbo on it put in a nitrous system along with a nos purge kit. on the new cf hood get a good hood scoop. get a new intercooler while your at it. the one on it looks stock and really crappy add a mesh grill onto the body kit if you decide to get one not sure if you did but put a cold air intake on it... can you get use some pics of the engine and interior. all in all those parts as above get a new paintjob and some new rims if you want that is. or like whit out said about the underhoo temps go with that. one thing i didnt see mentioned, i it a manual?

This is all a joke right?

first off, why on earth would you ever put a veilside bodykit on an eclipse, let alone any car? Veilside makes some of the shittiest looking kits on the planet, anyone with eyes can see that they make cars look like a riced out catfish.

why? so the huge blower wont knock into the hood? or maybe for the ram-air effect it has in your mom's pontiac grand am.

Obviously, you know your shit. But just for fun, why dont you explain to the class how the greddy front mount looks stock and really crappy...

*your response*: how was I supposed to know its a greddy front mount, it looks small and crappy??

You didnt read her list of mods cause it plainly says "Greddy FMIC"

She already has her WHEELS, not rims jackass. A rim is a part of the wheel, as are the spokes and hub etc. so if she was riding around on rims, she wouldn't get very far at all. Also, why paint it? Black isnt a good color for a car? Personally I think black is the best color for her car, like she said it just needs a good detail, claybar/wax etc.

Nope, automatic, and nonturbo with a cold-air intake already. Guess all your advice doesn't apply here. Oh well, better luck next time bud.

I think body kits aren't horrible when they are tasteful and not overly done. But for my own personal car, I prefer a somewhat stock appearing car. The only changes I plan to make to the body of the car are 97-99 Eclipse stock bumpers... which look like this:

Just because the Intercooler on my car isn't huge and obvious doesn't make it "crappy." It is plenty big for the size turbo that I'm running. When I upgrade my turbo, maybe I'll upgrade my IC. Until then, it functions perfectly.

I do not need nitrous in the car. With my current set up I'm looking to hit high 11's as is. I have more useful things to spend my money on.

What's wrong with the "rims" that are already on my car?

Is that English?

The fact that I mentioned SS clutch lines didn't give that away?

was being a little shit... mike can you be anymore of an asshole? arader if that was really you i hope the fish didnt make your shit stink more. and sorry about the spelling mistakes. i had to swap keyboards yesterday because my old one got water split all over it by my sisters cat (knocked over glass of water)

hey its your eclipse jess. was only throwing out some ideas into the world. but before i go on how low does the suspension get the gsx to the ground? just asking because the lower the car, the more downforce you have which at times is good.

Oh and if anyone wants to flame me again like mike did just pm me or im me on aim or are yall to lazy to push a few different buttons other than submit post?
