Default Picked up the e34 Touring

More pics!

I got a crackhead deal on the car, ($1000) and have a ton of parts sitting here or on order for it, including:

e39 M5 Wheels
Vogtland Springs
Bilstein HD Shocks
e34 M5 Rear subframe
Limited Slip differential
New Upper Control Arms
New Lower Control Arms
New Tie rods
New sway bar drop links
New power steering pump
Euro Smiley headlights
6000k HID's
New rotors
Hawk Pads
Stainless brake lines

I'm planning on doing a 5 speed trans swap in the next couple weeks too, but I'm still sourcing parts. I'm also going to shadowline the chrome trim and get some light tint. The car needs a ton of work, but for the price with a strong engine in a touring you cant beat it.

Also working on doing a ripoff on the e36 M3 Modena/Black interior. Alan is helping me look for the ultra rare Modena Vaders and I'm swapping black interior parts from the sedan and having some custom made up.

Small update,

Dropped, but not all the suspension together so it's all coming back apart anyway, waiting on a few more parts.

Interior coming apart nicely, located a set of ultra rare modena vaders I may purchase, hoping to get the dash out and swapped next week, depending on if I go with modena carpet or black carpet.

Been working on it as much as I can in my spare time. Going to pull the drivetrain apart in a week or so for the manual swap and the LSD diff. I'm out of town Monday-Friday and then starting moving into my new place, so things are a bit hectic around here (on top of trying to get the track car finished, and getting the touring done). All the suspension stuff is in, Bilsteins, Vogtlands, all new bearings/hubs, all new rotors all the way around, etc.

Unfortunately I dont have my DSLR currently (should be back next week) so I havent taken very many pics. None the less figured I'd share with you what I have so far. The interior is in a state of shambles, but that's what happens when you start swapping in a mostly black interior to be later accented with Modena seats and door inserts. Also took care of a ton of electrical glitches, and have nearly every warning fixed. Rewired all the coolant and oil sensors, and did a few other general maitenance bits. I'm Hoping my smilies and HID's show up soon so I can wire them up. I also had the double sunroof working momentarily (did all the positions, closed it, and suddenly it doesnt work quite right anymore) so I have some more tinkering to do with that. Anyway, enough talk, here's a 3 pics for you guys.

Put the black dash in, started working on the mess.

Engine stuff has been torn down for a variety of reasons (plugs, gaskets, intake, starter, etc)

Pulled that ***** out. I hate Automatics.

Land Mine?

HIDDDZZZZ NUTS...... Yes, high's and lows, I am "that guy".

In other news, UPS lost my ZF 310 M3 trans and clutch, and flywheel and pressure plate somewhere in Buffalo.... Hopefully they are here soon. Hopefully the car will be back on the road this coming Sunday/Monday if all goes well.
