I'd Like to start off by introducing myself, As I am new here. My name's Chris but, Most everyone calls me Mossburg, Or Duct on the Forum's. Dont ask about the Duct name, lol.
I work sales for Verizon Wireless but tryto keep it Hardly working, over Working hard.
AKA rally is my bar chick and im finally saying hello, after several years of secretly eyeing her. I plan to become a regular on this forum, and hope to play in the 2008 rally with you fella's.
Im currently assembling my 2001.5 Audi S4 for this little adventure of mine. It's not the fastest, It's not the most reliable, and not the most roomie, but its got a little bit of all the rite spice's.
I'll be turning 21 rite in time for this year's rally, so hopefully their will be lots of celebration drinks, not to many ticket's, and lots of good times!
welcome to the forum!
hopefully you'll actually show up on the rally. Many people say they will come but never have the balls to actually meet us at the starting line.
well budddddy, it was friendly smack talking until her last post.
ah..well sorry if I took it the wrong way. If you were joking then fine. I don't take too lightly to guys calling me pusy behind the wheel. It's probably girlie insecurity. Guys automatically assume I can't handle a car properly. I can't tell you how often I hear, "is that your car"", "can you drive stick?" etc etc.
ANyway...sorry if I got on your case if you meant it light heartedly. :P

its all good, but about the part with the four ways i wanted to see if you wanted to play a little, so i cruised til i saw you finally got on it a little. i wouldnt of been able to cut through cars and go around turns fast anyway with those tires.
but i know what you mean, my sister is a very good driver and she also drives a porsche, people always under estimate her, i know a lot of girl drivers that are good drivers.
honestly me and my friend that i had in the car thought it was cool as shit that a girl was driving that nice porsche.
yeah I know.. I saw you guys grinning and giving me the thumbs up - which is why I was a little shocked by the smack talk. I thought we were cool! lol
Trust me - if it was dry and I wasn't fiddling with that goddamn window, I definitely would have been up for a little fun.
Right when you started to get off I was going to signal to you to pull over with me to see if you guys could help me pull the glass up. It's tough to fiddle with the switch and pull the glass by yourself.

well i was almost completely stopped on the off ramp so we can say good bye, but i didn't see you at all. ( no im not shit talking ) lol. i just didnt see you, then
that jetta that cut me off was behind me and honked, so i had to go.
but did you see me taking pictures?? that was another reason why i kept trying to get next to you, i like how your car looks with those wheels.
Guess the forum bickering of old is long gone. Was anticipating a good one here.
In any case, come on the rally and show your true skills. If you can afford a set of hre rims on an e46 m3, I'm sure 3k or a little over won't set you back much for an experience of a life time.
Trust me, after two years in a row going cross country the best automotive experience you'll ever have.
Thanks for the tj, but since it is my thread lets clear up a few things..
First of cayenne guy.. It was not me who said I would come in the top 3. Second although the statement about the PA back roads, I will take you up on ANY day, not because I think I would take you (and I do) but because I love me some good ol spirited driving, and fun times with other folks that have a passion for speed, and well crafted vehicles.
To the homie that things his M3 is SO fast.. I lol'ed at your post.. Id be happy to toy with you over 140.. In and out of cars. Its not that most people are scared, its that they have a little common since. You never know what can happen out on the road's man. Im only 20 years old, but ive matured alot in the last few years.. IF you search on youtube, you can find a video of me sitting on the roof of my car steering with my foot at 100mph down 50, while the car is on cruise control... Now I realize how stupid that kind of stuff is.. You never know what could happen. Its not so much wrecking your car, or killing yourself. Its the other people that you could kill my man.. That being said, If your in the annapolis area i wouldnt dare pass up a litte M3, vs. S4 action.. Bring your game face, Cause ill bring mine.hahahaah
To all who greated me, Thanks for the warm welcome, and I like forward to putting some names with faces.
to the OP - sorry for hijacking your thread. To answer your question, I'm in a 996 C2 these days. I'm driving it everyday in Annapolis. Look out for me, I'm around.
To Dr. John...hell yeah the porsche wasn't working well that day! PLUS I'd only owned the thing for about 24hours. I wouldn't use those salt flat numbers to judge that car. But you know this and I am fully aware that you are messing with me. Besides...I already TOLD you to get that M6!!! leave the M3 behind.
To Nicky Black and Boost - I <3 u both
To M3 guy asking about debadged porsche - I guess what you're asking is, whether my car is 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive since the body of the 996 carrera is EASILY distinguished from all the other models. It looks nothing like the tt, gt3, gt2, carrera gt etc etc.
What kind of p-car does your sister have anyway???

My bad Mossburg..... I was somewhat under the influence last night and didnt realize I combined two different peoples posts into one. It was 50 degrees in FL yesterday, so we decided to go to the bar at 2pm and apparently I thought it was a good idea to post up last night.... I am still down to meet up in PA.... there are some great routes near my house with very little traffic, we might even be able to get some other PA aka'ers to meet up.
