Here is my 1993 Oldsmobile 98 touring sedan. This bad boy has a series I supercharged 3.8 V6 with the clock reading a mear 200,100 miles. From the factory it is a low 15 second car that gets over 30mpg on the highway and can fit more shit inside of it than all of the Nissans on last years' rally. 16 way adjustable & heated leather seats, moon/sun roof, oldschool CD player, real wood interior, on-board computer with 20+ buttons, and a pre SRS air bag. This thing is p1mp.
The only problem is that it needs a transmission worse than a 16 year old cheerleader needs the OC.
Did I mention that with a $65 pulley, K&N cone, and a gutted cat it will be in the low 14's. Too bad a used trans is $400...
STi has $20k in aftermarket parts, including coilovers (low), 18" volks with pilot r compound tires. New wheels/tires would have run me the same price as this car. This winter I could have gotten away with driving it though (no major snow storms).
That car is fucking CLEAN for having 200k on the clock. Sounds like a good lil car. $400 for a used trans isn't bad at all, although it sounds like the car wasn't too much more than that.

"Well, that sucks. That's like a $300 windshield."
I got the car for free from my uncle. It needed new brakes all around, new powermaster, new heater fan, new battery, new supercharger (we thought), some fluid changes, and a good cleaning. The supercharger ended up being fine when my buddy's shop took it off, but since it was off they did some matinence on it (oil, new seals, etc) and cleaned it up for free. Found the real problem with it was a bad harmonic balancer. Replaced that and I'm in business. If there weren't two different early 90's turbo legacys for sale in my area I would proably keep it.
1fstrex, there are 41 on the dash and steering wheel, that dosn't include the radio.
Just fucking around with it last night. I punched it from a dig with the traction control off and roasted (lots of smoke) the fronts through first. There is a nice 20ft burnout mark infront of my place from it. Nobody would ever expect it to come from that thing.
