My Mk2 Vr6 Build - REVmatch

Well i had a post "Welcome back" but it got petty boring. So i decided to make another thread starting with When i got it to how it is. now. I even want to see the progress i am making. I am going to follow up with this thread as long as i can.

The Begining
Bought a mk3 golf 4dr 2.0L as my daily driver. It was pretty nice, just needed some minor repairs. so i traded that car for the mk2 Vr6 plus some d90's. Was just going to put like $1500 worth of parts on it and just drive it. For That Said..... I am now at about $10,000. Mk2's are very addicting. Decied in person color was horrible:

So of course i then stripped entire car done and got it ready for paint: Decided to smooth parts of the engine bay, and the antenna because everything else was already smoothed or deleted. going with monty green.

Bought a set of widened steelies... 15x8 and 15x9. They are pretty rare becuase they are Euro corrado steelies. Painted them silver:

Some other parts that i bought for the car:
-G6o front flares all around
-New Side skirts for the g60 flares
-single round front end with crystal clear crosshairs
-H&R Coilovers
-mono wiper
-momo steering wheel

Best part which I the most excited about, is a Schimmel stage 1 3.0L motor with rebuilt trans with a differentia, cams, headspacer ready for boostl, all new vf motor mounts: http://www.spturbo.com

Here is some pictures of my old mk2 i built and was a dumbass and got rid of it. I kick my self in the ass every time i look at the pictures.

I am going to continue to post up the progress and then when i can pay back everything i spent, it is ime for turbo. ENJOY everyone!

Well i didn't know i picked that font, after i looked at it i was like how did that happen! yea i'll go turbo maybe winter or spring! Bill is building motor right now for no turbo till im ready then we will just slap a spacer and what not. Need alot of power till i go turbo!

Car will be picked up Monday and then put parts on then go to bills hopefully on wednesday

great, i'll be over once the rain stops or tomorrow.

also, you better raise those front coils a little b/c once the engine is in you are going to have a hot rod rake going on.
