On my way to work today...

Clocked @ 80 in a 60 by one of the "speeders taskforce" here in Houston. Which means I was clocked via laser, and it's on video, and the ticket is electronic. So I can't say it wasn't me and there's no chance for the cop to write the wrong info on the ticket (a la Audi RS4). It's as simple as a swipe of my drivers license.



I'm gonna wait a few days and call the DA and ask for deferred adjudication (6mo), no points, and pay the fine in full ($200). It's a hassle and it made me late to work.

Oh well, another day another dollar.

At least getting the ticket didn't stop me from severely upsetting a GT Mustang on the way home.

Dear Mr. Jnxd1,
It is my understanding that you drive a Volvo, and a red one at that. Surely you must be jousting that you in a Red Volvo got a ticket for speeding. I mean really going 80 in a 60? Is it possible that you are under the same illusional psychogenic’s that “sahmeonyoublue” is on? I find it very, very hard to grasp the fact that a Volvo, much less a Red one can do 80mph. Is it possible that you were in your driveway sitting in your grocery getter day dreaming about unfulfilled fantasies? One would think so especially since you felt that you severely upset a GT Mustang, like the chances of that happing are close to beyond nill. Please revisit your day dream and once completed send us the real story.

Yeah Houston, TX is cutting down hard on the speeders with there task force.

I know a guy in houston that videos his enforcement encounters with HPD. His buddies on the force are a little mad that he runs a police scanner as it makes it easier for them to avoid the traps
