I guess I should work on my reading comprehension, 11's at 129 is what dumbass posted above.
Gotta love mid 9, low 10 second trap speeds with a mid 11 ET.
I mean it is possible, but usually pretty hard to cut a 9/ Low 10 second time out of a stock vette suspension. They aren't exactly set up to drag race, and with a manual good luck.
Especially if he only had one run down the track, I wouldn't expect a ton.
I personally haven't ever ran anything faster then maybe a 12 second car at the track, I think the last time I had my vette there I ran a low 12, but that was close to stock. Quick poll, what is the fast time you ever personally got at the 1/4 mile?!

Low 11 at 129 is a hell of a roll racer.
Thanks. They are supposed to kick you out for running faster than 11.5, so I usually just roll out at the start and take my time shifting; no use beating the driveline up just so I can get booted at the end; I've been warned before and I know at least in Englishtown if they kick you out for repeatedly running faster than 11.5 they will write your VIN # down and not let you run again untill you get a rollcage, which I'd never do on a daily driver.
My 60's are usually in the 2.0 - 2.1 second range ... Not trying to impress anyone, just joining my friends who are big into drag racing and having a little fun in the process.
For what its worth the car runs 265/35R18 road racing tires up front, and the rears are also RR tires; I drive it back and forth to work every day on that setup and have no intentions of setting it up for drag racing or even trying to run drag radials on the back so it probably won't do much better than high 10s. That's good enough for me...
For being so smart I would think you'd know better than to refer to a tire as a road racing tire. No better way to sound like a moron. And if you're running a 129mph trap speed you aren't coasting out. No doubt about it. Post a slip.
Ultra, personal bests? Lots of .500 perfect lights, a few almost perfect lights on pro tree, 11.3 @ 123 ish in a Supra. That was years ago though.

Wow, you never miss an opportunity to make an ass of yourself, do you?
Go tell Nitto they are Morons, OK?
Here is their corporate site
And here is the description of the tires I am running:
"The NT555RII is a D.O.T.-compliant road race competition radial designed with the muscle car racer in mind. usig the same [...] has been thoroughly updated to handle the task of road racing"
Any other words of wisdom you'd like to share with Nitto?
That would be referred to as a DOT-R in the industry dumbass. Learn the lingo before you go around promoting yourself as a siqqqq road racer rather than the failure of a driver and a human that you are.
0-60 in 3.1 and a 129mph trap speed but you can't even click off a 10 second pass. DOES NOT COMPUTE.
FAWKIN BLAST OFF!

DOT-R is a class of tires that includes Drag Radials; I was being more specific than that. Why don't you go to the Nitto website and "educate them" on the classification of their own tires Untill then you still look like a dumbass for saying there is no such thing as a road racing tire, when the manufacturer of those tires refers them SPECIFICALLY as a "road racing tire"

Yeah... Sure. Tell you what; why don't you do better, then you can have some kind of basis to criticize me from I am sure everybody can show up in their daily drivers to the drag strip and run 10s on their first time out
It ran what it ran, I honestly don't give a shit if you can't understand it.

I have run better, learn to read.
Post a slip, because a 129 trap coasting through at a time of higher than 11.5 means you have a 9 second car. It's pretty simple math, I'd figure even you could understand that. And let's be honest, we all know your car is NOT a 9 second car. Unless you are that ignorant.

Coasting = : to move along without or as if without further application of propulsive power (as by momentum or gravity) (M-W Dictionary). Where in any of my posts did I say I lifted, coasted, or didn't go full throttle?
I said that I rolled through the start then gradually put it to the floor, lifting for each shit. In between shifts I was going full throttle. I did this pass with a 2.079 60'. I imagine if I launch it off the launch control and flat foot every shift there is another 2-3 mph or so there, and probably a high 10s if it gets good enough traction on the launch. I don't know because I haven't tried. I haven't tried because I haven't had the chance to do more passes and because I was told they would kick me off for life if I run 10s with no cage.

So then whats the point of going to the track? your not running to hit a specific times, your running to see what a "600 HP" Vette can do. Who cares if you get kicked off. I'm sure it's not that strict as you may think. Fuck them.
