Okay.. for any of you who are familiar with travelling... you know what a "pullman" size suitcase is... it's the one thats JUST slightly bigger than a carryon.

Guess what...

I packed mine with what I need for the trip.. and... yeah.. it wont fit in the trunk of the S2000 unless I remove the spare tire. Grr. I am going to have to repack all my shit into a ghetto ass duffel bag, or bring less stuff and fit what I need into a carryon size suitcase.

Hey crackhead. Try this. remove the spare tire thing and just set it in the well of the trunk and set the suitcase on top of it.

or perhaps irony would be the fact that a friend of mine, a VW mastertech came over to help me reassemble the motor tonite, and broke a crucial thermostat housing piece.... at this point i have little to no motivation to work on the motor tonite to have it back in the car and my codriver doesn't have a car to drive on the rally... looks like more last minute stuff

i can only hope i get some motivation to do this, and we get it done by tomorrow night

ok im going to try and sound like i know what im talking about just because my buddy that is driving also has a S2000 and we are taking that. say you got a flat tire, and you put the spare tire on wouldent it mess up the differental? Because if the tire that you blow out is not the same size as the spare wouldent that make a difference when you are driving and maybe screw something up even more. Hopefully you wouldent have to drive far on the spare but assuming you couldent plug the tire or anything how would you be able to drive? But yeah like i said im just trying to sound like i know what im talking about so i could be completly wrong.. Just roll all your cloths up then iron them if you have to.

umm.. As long as you didnt drive flat out for 100 miles, nothing will happen to the diff.. at least on my car... I can't speak for the pre-2004 models which have a 'weaker' differential.

I don't iron. My hotel will probably press my clothes tho.
