Are you talking about a car that was built for the American Market outside of the country or cars built for and delivered to another country and then brought to the US? I suppose I can answer yes to the first question and I know people could reply in the affirmative to the second. If you need any help or advice on the issue I can probably offer some assistance.

Well I got a broker to bring in my car from Japan. It only costed me about 2 grand, and the car was 6,000 so it was a pretty good deal.
