I know it is late, but I wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year (or Spring Festival as they are calling the 2 week holiday).
The year of the Rat is my year, so I figured to make a return to China to see an old friend and their family. I have really enjoyed my time here visiting in Chongqing and Chengdu and then a visit to Emei mountain.
Man let me tell you, it was COLD as heck, beautiful, but WAY cold and not to mention climbing the last 500 meters caused me to get altitude sickness and I had to be taken back down the mountain by special SUV.... YIKES (you would have thought I would have known better from my experience in Tibet and Mt Everest... but NO, I thought I could get by with a 1,000 meter ascent in 1 afternoon to 3,500 meters..... NOT)

Not to mention the files are pretty large. But definitely have some awesome pics from my diving in Thailand and the Mountain in China. Dude, the snow was soo thick the trees were bent completely over and forming solid walls of tree/ice/snow.
