This was my latest race at the Hendersonville Airfield in North Carolina yesterday May 28, 2009
This was a good match up with Forged Performance Brand New Nissan GT-R (Japan’s newest Supercar) vs. my LoveFab Honda NSX Turbo (Japan’s first Supercar)
The GT-R had 120 more horsepower over me at 520hp while I had about 400hp.
The GT-R also had All Wheel Drive which works wonders when it is raining out like it was yesterday.
I was about 900lbs lighter which is why this should have been a good match up.
Enjoy!

Although I didnt win, it would have been pretty close without the rain.

Nice man, So was this the 'Airport' event set up before Zdayz?
I have always wanted to try a NSX out, wish was was doing the rally this year, we could have done a ride swap for a bit. Did Sharif let you take the GT-R out for a sipn?
If your still in the ATL area, any chance you could do me a favour?
Well, is my Z still in one piece? it hasn't been nickd or sold off for parts or anything has it?
Just curious as I have not seen it since I sent it to Sharif after the the '07 rally and the engine was taken out and inspected.
You'll have to get a ride in his GT-R I am sure it is a really fun ride. One of these days I want to take the NSX out for a spin. I know that is a fun ride too.
Thanks Alex, apprecaite your checking up on it.
I am hoping to get down to ATL for a couple of days, but I don't have much time really.
Someday soon man.
As for why it's been there so long, it was first taken there witha blown headgasket and since I had other cars, I let Sharif take his time inspecting it and putting it all back together. By the time it was all sorted out, I was leaving the country and simply have not been back since then. Just the way the ball bounces sometimes...
Just one thing, don't put the ebrake right on after ripping on it. You could actually seize it up. Putting it in gear is safer after getting off the track and letting the whole car and brakes cool down.
