Poor dude. The turbo sounded like something I've never heard before. Oh well, it will be all fixed up soon. Then you can go german!

Update: Shit, I didn't realize how long my car was down for.

Finally pulled my motor yesterday. The exhaust wheel on the turbo feels like it completely broke off the shaft. Since I had done one before the motor came out like butter, thanks to Ash for lending a quick hand.

Now, the motor is going down to Verocious to get machined, new pistons/rings and then back into the car.

I'll upload some better pictures once I get home!

Now do you have to pull the motor to get the turbo out or did something else go nutty too?

Ok I thought I was going insane, or they really really tucked the turbos up tight in these cars lol.

Love how the boxers sound though.

At this rate I can swap a Subaru turbo in about 20 mintues

I cracked ringland and had very very low compression. Motor came out to get rebuilt.

It was super fun helping the Jeffro pop the motor out... Mainly because all I did was make harsh comments and pretend to do stuff.

Here's to the wagons build... or should I say rebuild rebuild

Any updates?

I love helping work on cars. By helping I mean helping friends try to drink beer.

No updates. This weekend would have been nice but I was at the shore and it was memorial day weekend.

I really need to get it fixed already though.

Nice build.

How do you have your catch can mounted on the strut bar?

If you need any parts for the build, let me know.

Nick

What kind of parts do you have?

The catch can is mounted with some metal bent around the strut bar and just screwed into the catch can. I'll get some pictures for you.
