A few folks from here were interested in a KW coilovers group buy so here it goes. We can't post pricing below their minimum allowed prices online, and your pricing will be below that, so all prices will be sent via PM or e-mail. Please post/pm/e-mail the following info to obtain pricing:
Your Name
Vehicle Year
Vehicle Make
Vehicle Model
Vehicle Trim level
KW products you'd like pricing on
Your zip code
The most common units are the Variant 3 coilovers, but Variant 1 and 2 coilovers, HLS, Clubsport and Competition coilovers are fair game for this group buy. This is for any make/model vehicle KW has an application for. If you have any questions about which coilovers to get, or whether KW has anything for your vehicle, just ask. Their product finder is horrible and isn't showing fitment for a lot of cars that they really do make parts for.
I'll set a deadline of Friday April 3rd for now, just over three weeks from today. As per any group buy you must pay in full to get your name on the list. When we reach the deadline we put the order in. In this case, if we get a whole bunch of people in on this sooner than the deadline I'll make multiple orders so the early purchasers get their coilovers sooner. Shipping will take about 1 week to your door once we place the order with KW.
We sell a lot of brands of suspension parts, but KW coilovers have some key things going for them that others do not:
-Extreme resistance to corrosion/rust. I can't believe how well these hold up over time. That means when you go to adjust the ride height the threads won't by rusty so the collars will actually move. This may not seem like a big deal if you haven't had coilovers before, but it's a huge PITA if the threads get rusty.
-Excellent ride quality considering the great handling. This applies to the variant coilovers. The clubsport and competition coilovers provide a bit rougher ride as you'd expect from a track only suspension system. The variant coilovers which are designed for combination street/track use consistantly ride nicer than other coilover suspension systems.
Hey Mike,
as I told you, I'm extremely interested. I tried the product finder though, and it appears they don't make coilovers for my year 996 (1999).
bummer
Yea I actually just bugged them about that a few hours ago. They do make Variant 3 coilovers for your car, but they haven't updated the product finder. Slackers...
Mike, as a KW Vendor, do you carry any of their replacement parts, or ship them in? I want to update my V3's to the new collars since I have half and half right now, but don't feel like paying $60 shipping just for collars.
I'm in Mike, Durka's gonna kill me but I'm still deciding V1 or V3 (he says its retarded on my fag-wagon but shit, the price is SO good lol) - I'll hit you up in a couple of days and also buy some brake pads / lines etc from you then too

oh, and welcome.
I do not stock their replacement parts, but can get them. They do charge 60 bucks for air freight from Germany. If you can wait a bit their 3-4 week shipping is 30 bucks.
For the group buy on coilovers I'm including the fast shipping for everyone.

Can you send me quotes for the following:
clubsport and v3 for 2008 BMW M3 coupe with EDC
v3 for 2009 BMW 335i xDrive coupe
Thanks,
Ian
Boy...their online product finder is totally screwed. They show nothing under 08 m3, but under 09 it shows all the parts that fit 07+ m3 LOL.
PMing pricing on the M3 stuff.
When KW opens I'll get pricing on the 09 xdrive stuff.
As a reminder, the club sports are designed for track only cars. Some people drive them on the street, but they're rough. The v3's ride great on the street.
