Default G35 or 350z

For the 07 rally i am inbetween a hard choice! Either go with the Infinity g35 coupe or the Nissan 350z. I need some help here! I think that the G35 is alot better car but they have the same platform! I drove both and i am in love witht the G35 as u can see! But should i go with the 350z instead and save a few pennies!

The G35 is a much better car and you get a backseat and a sunroof, neither of which the Nissan offer. The G35 has a much more attractive interior with a larger body which makes it all the more safe. The invoice for the G35 coupe here is just over 32K which is roughly the same price for a Hardtop Z with the Touring package without Nav. The infinity also depreciates less over a 3 year period. I am looking into getting a G35 coupe for next year as my dreams of an M3 don't seem to be coming true.

G35 is a nicer car, not necessarily a better car; it all depends on what's important to you. The Z is a little bit quicker, and a little more agile. The G35 is much more luxurious, and has a better interior build quality. Looks are subjective.

It's not really a decision someone else can help you with. You've driven both, and you know what you can afford. I think the answer is obvious: buy a used e46 m3.

If only I could find an e46 m3 with less than 30K miles for under $40K that isn't 4-5 years old.

My buddy has one for sale with 26k on it for $38k. I think it's an 03, but I can't remember. Imola Red on Black with some mods, but I don't know what all he is including for that price.

That's not bad. I need to stop talking and sell my truck so I can get another car. I came across an 04 M3 that has been imported from Germany with the "supposedly" only widebody kit in the US. It had 28K. Imola red for 40K.

I'm confused why it isn't in your driveway.... wait is my good friend the prince of Nigeria selling it? I can probably negotiate it for you

Infinity makes a great car last night i went "sunday car shopping" and in my city we have a nissan dealer next to a infinity dealer next to a bmw dealer next to a mercedes benz dealer. not to mention across the street lexus, acura(My dealer!) caddilac, volvo, audi, land rover and saab..ect.

As i strolled from nissan to infinity i saw the 2007 350z's and rememberd why i loved them so much, its a nissan shifter cart small and agile , updated lights and interior for 2007 and in a convertable nearly 40K... (they might be pricing themselves out of the market? next i wen to infinity which had only 2006 g35 - sedan - coupe's I really respect this car its a 2+2 with a great track record for reliability and available twin turbo kits.

Next I came to BMW, (last year when i baught my TL I checked out the 2006 3 series sedans and thaught to myself that it smaler than my TL it's weaker than my TL and other than the drive configuration and the BMW emblem why was it 10K more than my tl , it dosent even have sat-nav? so i passed on the 3 series sedan..) for 2007 BMW has made a coupe version of the 3 series and my god was i surprised when i saw her. the particular model that caught my eye was the 335i coupe. the looks where not the reason for my intrest in this vehicle but as i circled it i noticed 2 nicely sculpted exhaust tips. this sparked my itrest because i knew BMW was up to somthing with that size of an exhaust so i went up to the window sticker to see it say = 3.0 liter TWIN TURBO straight 6 with doubble vanos valve timing. it didnt say how much power its it produce but the sticker said 45K. So i ran home to google BMW and find out more the 335i twin turbo produces 300HP with 300Lbs trq. those are fugures formerly reserved for M3's. I cant wait till the tuners get a hold of these cars and make them into beasts. in 2008 im trading in my FWD TL for a fully loaded 335i TT and then ill be rallying with the best of them!

LOLZ. I wonder if he wanted me to send him a cashiers check too and send the rest to the shipping company. But no, he was a reputable seller. The car was gorgeous but I can't swing $2200 a month for car payments plus $700 a month for ins. all 3 cars. I still wish Neal Suzuki had of accepted my offer on Kelly's M3.

The pink m3 was for sale in Ft Worth at Neal Suzuki Autoplex. They were asking 36,999 for it. I offered to trade my truck for it straight up (truck cost 44k and was 2 months old) they declined. 1 week later I offered $33000.00 cash plus tt&l and they turned that down too. I left them my name and number and told them to call me when they were ready to make a deal. Almost 2 weeks later it sold for 32,500. WTF?? Appparently my money wasn't good enough for them. Too bad, that car would have been beautiful with a gunmetal paint job and interior accents. Don't get me wrong (kelly if you read this) the pearl pink was an interesting color, but not a good idea for a guy to be driving.

Well having been the only person to brave the rally piloting a G35, I can tell you that I really appreciate the fact that there are fewer of them on the road then the 350Z. As Chris said, styling is subjective, but the sunroof and backseat are a welcome functionality for me.

Very good point. I don't know if I could have a 2-seater as my only car.

I am not really into most american women... I prefer the sit and spin type (easier to fit 2 of them in the front seat anyway)... affectionately referred to as LBFM..
