Default Feeling generous? Donate for a good cause.
Hey guys i am walking this sunday May 3rd, 2009 on the March For Dimes to help raise money for them. My gf's sister and brother-in-law had their baby 3 months ago and had it about 5 weeks prematurely. Had some minor problems with it and ended up spedning a week or two in the hospital.. so i figured i would walk with them and get exercise while raising money for a good cause.

you dont have to donate if you dont want... but if your feeling generous i would love the support.

Thanks to all. hopefully i dont ptfo while walking the 4-miles lol but i should be able to handle it i ride my bike about 10miles every couple days.

4 miles isn't that bad at all. Just make sure you wear good walking shoes.

Thanks guys appreciate the donations. Too bad i dont have a revmat.ch/ aka rally/ blown euros shirt otherwise i would wear it and make sure i am first in the entire walk (haha riiight im sure some crazy guys will run 4 miles in oh i dont know 30min? lol)

and yea my brother works for underarmour corporate so he hooked me up with a sweet pair of "test" running shoes... and some shorts and shirts. lol

Welp... it poured non-stop all day sunday... but that didnt scare me away. I walked with Anand's GF and 2 of our other friends. as well as with my gf's sister and brother-in law...

it took us about an hour and 10min to walk the 4 miles... and we were soaked after the first 5min outside. But it was for a good cause and together we all raised about $1,000 for the march of dimes.

Thanks again to Chris and aka rally/ Revmat.ch guys and Nick M. and the Bloweuros guys. The donations were much appreciated and well worth it to walk 4 miles in the pouring rain.

and just for kicks....

YUP! thats right a girl was walking 4 miles in pouring down rain in jeans and uggs. ROFL!
