Ok listen I've had enough of this. If you guys want to make your own dvd from 50+ hours of footage go right ahead, you'll see how long it takes you to get things 100% how you want them and at our level of quality, but if you are going to continue to bitch about how long we're taking on this one, then when it finally is finished I have a strange feeling that your copy will be mysteriously lost in transit.

That being said, the DVD will be out by the end of the month, and if thats not soon enough for you impatient bastards, then SUCK MY BALLS.

+1 shit takes time. Look at most major productions that take 4 years from conception to DVD, you guys are bitching about 6 months. Give Mike and Dan some time, they have other jobs too.

Honestly boost, you're my boy bro. Take your time. I mean, i know its going to come out awsome....
However, if you think about it, and this is all hypothetical.
Say you took august off and didn't do anything untill september 1st, and seeing how you said the dvd will be out at the end of this month, that means you would have had 153 days to complete this dvd. So if you had 100 hours of footage roughly, then you could have done 1 hour a day and still 53 more days to spare. But i know you have a life and friends. So maybe the fact that 153 days is 3,672 hours but I'll assume you like to sleep a nice 8 hours a day so that would mean you only had 2,448 hours with less then 100 hours of footage. Keeping in mind that you had 2 people doing this, you and dan, then you would really only of spent 1,224 hours doing less then 50 hours of footage. That means that in 1,224 hours, with 50 hours of footage, you could of done 1 hour every 24 days....just something to think about.....

Ok, now here's the reality of it...

We got back from the rally and say we "took August off", september comes along and Dan starts his NYC move fiasco, which left him incapacitated for roughly 3 weeks moving his stuff in and then right back out of his first apartment which fell through, which puts us 1 week from october and planning for the fall mini-rally in Maine. Chris and I both decided that putting the summer rally on the back burner for the time being would be the best thing to do. So we get back after a week or whatever and start to review tapes. So now, mid october, most of our tapes have been reviewed, timecodes logged and we're about to start capturing when Dan finds a new place in the city and things go on hold again for another 2 weeks while he moves his shit and gets situated again, now we're into November. November was spent capturing video and audio, now keep in mind that when all of this is going on Dan is still working full time shooting commercials, editing promo's etc. because they take priority as they're done sooner and he gets paid sooner, which is understandable from my viewpoint because rent in the city is hardly cheap. Dan went to Arizona for the week of Thanksgiving to be with family and what not, so he gets back and that puts us into December. The footage is starting to be edited and pieced together, which if you have any idea of the video editing process, is quite time consuming, especially with the sheer volume of footage we have. Dan came home the week before x-mas and the week after as well, which puts us into January where most of his time is being dedicated towards the dvd, although he was just out in Pittsburgh for a few days shooting a Marriot commercial. Which brings us to today, where he is nestled safely in his warm apartment huddled in front of the computer editing his little ass off. And we dont have 2 guys, as Dan is a one man editing machine. So if you guys think you can do a better job next year, by all means please make an attempt because you people obviously have no clue as to what it takes.


And I swear to god the next person who asks when it will be out is getting banned for a time period I've yet to determine.

As you said, I think a lot of us know that Dan has other things he is working on also and are trying to be patient, but we are cars guys...
