i was dissapointed. I thought the challenge was very lame.... tracking the cars or something would have been much better then smashing light bulbs, It could be fun to actually attempt it at the time but to watch it... eh.. I also would have liked to see more of them running and driving rather then 20 mins of the "sonic" Leaderboard. Ill have to see if it gets any better next week but I wasnt impressed. haha
That Nissan is very nice though. The Lotus team cant read a map for shit.
It was aka minus all the cool stuff. Spike did alot to try and draw in people, which made it horrible. If most of these producers would take a week and see how the rallies portray their runs and other videos of the runs it would make the tv shows that much better.
The guys who own the nissan are the same guys who own the shop that sponsors my car. They had a premier party at D&Bs on tuesday night which was pretty fun. That 240 is super sick i know from experience!
I caught the re-run lastnight, missed the original airing, and it was basically a waste of my time. The show was a feeble attempt to reach out to guys who can appreciate cars that go fast, and explosions, but not much more. here: http://tv-links.co.uk/Gumball%203000_links.html, is a link to the tv show they made for the past 3 gumball 3000 rallies. these shows, though for what is dubbed 'season 1' was alot more 'consumer oriented,' i still think it blows bullrun out of the water, hands down.... plus there is less Sonic product placement and better cars.

the only good gumball extreme series was 2004 the most recent one wasn't too too bad though
So I just finished watching the Bullrun on Spike. Didn't look like a whole lot of fun. The part where they were hitting the bus with the long poles attached to their cars was fucking pointless. How in the hell can they offer a 200K prize for winning the bullrun? Doesn't that make it an illegal road race? Also, who in their right mind would pay $17.5K to enter a rally when they could possibly be eliminated and forced to leave!??! Oh and LOLZ @ the grafitti covered 96 Civic.
And where are their navigation systems??!! Are they required to use only maps??!!

Reason: I left something out
I don't think those guys paid to enter. They had people send applications in, with video etc., then they picked them. I think they tried to get Viper John to do it.
Those guys definitely aren't real 'traditional' bull run contestants.
Although..that was one sweet ass scion!
second episode worst then first....cant come up with a challenge that doesnt involve a spike ball at the end of a pole? Its a reality tv show talked up to be a big race. Its like the "Amazing Race" but in cars all the time.
Plus, the Nissan is gone. no reason to watch anymore.
that was sad the nissan was a great car and it sucks that they couldnt fix it
the guys in the lambo are stupid they need to go home im rootin for the m3
