Default Big STi Part-out incl 0 mile axis stage II motor, bov, header, exhaust, utec, intake
Copied verbatim from my iwsti and nasioc threads. If any of you guys are interested in these parts, just let me know, and I'll give you a deal.


A few months ago, my stock motor let go at 28k miles. Ron at Axis Racing is currently building me one of his Stage II motors. I'd like to trade this 0 mile motor for a stock STi motor. Nothing high-mileage, please. Must be in good shape with good compression numbers, and preferably something with a recent leak-down test performed.

Motor specs:

Axis Stage II with CP Pistons
ARP Headstuds
New STi timing belt
New Spec c water and oil pumps
New factory gasket set
3-angle valve job on heads


I'd consider a long block for long block trade, or full motor with all accessories. Taking offers on this - I've got $3400 into the motor not counting labor and shipping. This motor will be shipped to me sometime this week. I can have it sent to either my Yardley, PA (19067) location, or my Annapolis, MD (21401) location. I could also consider having it sent directly to the buyer. This is an easy way to have the least possible downtime for your own car, and get a 0 mile built motor with no wait.




I also have:

New Tial 50mm BOV with flange and v-band hardware - $175
APS 50/50 FMIC BOV, looks nearly new. $130
GT SPEC II header, used, in good shape - $320
Tanabe Titanium Ultra Medallion catback with a dented can (
**Internal Linking (Threads)
) $300
Injen CAI - polished silver. Does not include mounting nut for fender well. Used for 15k - $90
Perrin Short Ram Intake - $50. Cut silicon tube in half, length-wise, for more clearance. Functions perfectly.
APS DR650 FMIC - black with crinkle red piping. IC is in excellent shape with only a few bent fins. Piping has typical wear, but still looks nice. $850
eAutosport Custom brackets for aftermarket seats. $300 new, $200, only used 2k miles, perfect fitment. These brackets give extra clearance for tall people, especially good for track/autox helmet use.
Recaro OEM Sliders without height adjustment - $150
Sparco Sliders without height adjustment - $80

I might have sold the m3, which means I will keep the STi around until I get the new car, and possibly for the Fall Rally.

I have to spill the beans, we have been working on it for months now...

A twin engine(600hp rear 350 hp front) civic hatch!

The front engine has an auto trans and the rear is manual so that it can do crazy axis spins and such!

I'll say that it isn't my ultimate German car, but it is getting up there in my list of desireable cars. That being said, I STILL haven't decided which model to get.
