Default bestways to fight speeding tickets

I wanna run the rally. However today on my 100mile road trip to Hot Import Nights I got pulled over on the way back goin 86mph in a 65mph, now the back only gose up to 19mph over. So I know i need help. I got 9points on my licence 2 points i can still drive. But if i lose an get 4 points I lose my Licence, an my insurance gose even higher. I was driving my beater it's a 96 altima, dented an stuff also my inspection tag was expired.

How can I get a way out of this. I work at Nissan I was thinking to have my mechanic write a false repair order for my gauge cluster. An say they were reading inaccurately. An I can prove it cause my Odometer dosen't work.
What else can I do. IT was Pitch black, no way he could have scene my plates an stuff i wasn't going abnoxously fast as there were people racing down the highway after the show.

I need some help

thats about all you can do unless they got you comming around a corner if they clock you in a corner it shows up far faster than your actually going. just get the mechanic to make the report and actually decalabrize it than come back the next day and get it fixed.

no not at all decalibrized gagues are an automatic exemption you weren't to your knowledge speeding its kinda hard to tell the difference betweens speeds with out a properly working speedometer. If it didn't work at all you'd get in trouble

Yeah, you can get in trouble for having a nonfunctioning or miscalibrated speedo. Your best bet is just to always be cool with the cop, and dont flash any attitude. In most cases, just say you want to challenge the ticket, go to court and talk to the cop before hand and see if he/she will hook you up. If not, just pay the ticket and be out. I got pulled doin 75 into a 40 in a construction zone! Almost lost the license for a long while, but went and talked to the cop and he was cool and i only got a few points.

Yeah, the law says that you have to have a speedometer, but it doesnt necessarily have to work. A faulty spedometer doesnt hold up much in court. Your best bet is to talk to the cop, or you can do some research and find out when the cop is taking vacation or cant make it to court and rescedule your court date to then. If i'm correct the ticket gets thrown out if the cop doesnt show to court.

If its really important (like you will lose your licence) you may want to think about getting a lawyer. It will cost some cash, but you will keep your license.

Good point with the lawyer if things are bad, but just dont fuck with the cop who pulls you over. Thats almost a guaranteed ticket, unless you have something to black mail him/her with.

Take a defensive driving course. Give receipt to the court.

Yeah, if its a matter of loosing your licence, first thing i would do is talk to the District Attorney's office and see if there is anyway you can get the ticket reduced to something more manageable like 10 over or so. Since you already have points I dont know how much they can do, but its always worth a shot. Then you should probably get a Layer, or get a buddy who is a layer to give you some legal advice and take it from there. Loosing your license would suck, so you should do whatever you can to get out of this ticket.

You could probably Plea-Bargain for a Defensive driving course and some community service. A buddy of mine was going about 22 over and thats what he got off with.

Funny thing is after i made it to the serivies area, I had been chasing down my friend, cause he kept beating me threw the tolls with EZpass, they all placing bets on me even making it to Las Vega or with how many tickets. Anyhow I figger for now i'ed be best to ship my car to Vegas for my move, an hope NV won't transfer my points from NJ. An that'll make 2 states i can't drive in.
