Like where do you guys like to do your work..... do you do in your house garage if you have one.. do you do it in the drive way.... do you do it in a car shop or have someone do it for you in a shop..... do you run your own shop........
I dont have a garage so i have to get it done by my uncle at the local shop..... i wouldnt mind running my own Custom car shop though..... that would be cool.

I used to do all the work on my subaru... even built race engines for $$, BUT my current BMW is smarter than I am, and I dont have the jack to buy the tools.

hah, that's when I got mine, after totalling the WRX... Looking to sell it, it is slowly falling apart.
Were you @ the East Coast Subaru Shootout last year in Beaver Springs? I went, but it was rained out... Picked up a blue WRX to build.

I did the kind of opposite of you. I have a cosmos 99 m3, then went to Subaru, with a white 05 STi. I have not been to any Subaru events, I just got it in June.
Obviously the WRX is not an STi, but what are your thoughts after owning it, and then an e36 m3?

I only went to two events... 1 in Texas @ the motorsports ranch and the rained out event in PA. Did go to Georgetown, Ontario to get a truckload of STi parts once tho! :)
I liked my WRX a lot more than my M3. It was fast and fun, had a few dollars spent on it. Maybe I will get another one someday, but I am looking to get something more fuel efficient... Ala Jetta TDI, lol

Do all the work myself, unless warranty, or internals (trans & motor). The GN's gotta have that pulled next summer. Wahoo for rod knock and a 17 year old motor.
