So i was browsing an woot.com had some emergency electronic flares that seemed like they could be useful. It uses lithium batteries so they wont go dead in the truck and work in any temp as well as a very identifiable led pattern.

The benefits of this over a normal road flare is that it's safer for you or your family(I know if my mom broke down at night and tried to use a flare she would probably catch fire) and the environment(only you can prevent forest fires).

Either way, at $10 for two + $5 total shipping it seems like a decent deal. I think I might end up ordering two packs.

Yeah, and real flares which have fire are cheaper.

Bear Grylls would prefer fire flares in this situation anyday.
