Well guys, it has been a blast but after being out of the country for soo long and returning to find a turbo seal blown, I think it is time for the Z to hang up it's cape.

I will be shipping the car back to NoVa and will start the painful process of parting the car out so I can get it somewhat back to stock and sell her. Time to start paying off those cards with the rapidly raising interest rates ;-)

There have been lots of ups and downs, but the memories of the Rallies and road trips will stick with me for a long time. I got rid of the Lotus back in June too, so now it just the GT-R (which by the way will be heading down to ATL for some new exhaust and power goodies this weekend  )

Just thought I would let you all know.

Sad to see it go, but if you can't enjoy it, you might as well. The GT-R is a great replacement regardless!

Let us know when you want to hang out!

Yea, I don't really want to part it out, I would much rather have sold it as a whole. I put a lot of myself and my time into building the car, it's going to kill me to tear her down now, but I don't really have the time/money to fix this latest problem and with my expected move, I won't be around to enjoy it anymore anyway.

I will be around through the New year, then off for good back to Asia.

As for Chris and the GT-R..... Yea, he is very fond of that car for some particular reason... LOL

Yep, the 'Wing' got a talking to for that one actually. Aparently they knew of a similar car located around here and wanted some information.. hahahahaha
We don't know nothing!

Have you tried selling it complete?

Have you tried selling it complete?

I did somewhat, but really only on the Z and G boards and locally to those that know the car. Even then I could not get offers around the $30k range.

I think I can get that just parting it out, so anything less for the whole car would suck.

I would REALLY prefer to sell the car as a whole, but with the economy, finding someone with $30k that wants this particular type of car is pretty hard.

ill bet you would find a buyer for 30k on ebaymotors, no problem.
the black sti i took in 07, sold on ebay for 40k

The Z was a good car. But I have never seen a car break so many parts.
