I am looking to get a V1 and I'm curious about using one in conjunction with a laser jammer. Anyone had experience using a V1 with a Lidatek or Escort ZR3 laser shifter?

So you're saying a V1 in conjunction with a Veil & Laser Interceptor hasn't given you any problems?
Just trying to figure out ahead of time what works well together.

I run a V1 with a ZR3 and have had zero issues so far, knock on wood.

I use V1, Veil and a Blinder M20. No issues either and most importantly the V1 is the shiznite. If you want to save some money get the Bel-Ray RX65. To me it worked as well as the V1; however, the arrows on the V1 eliminates a lot of guessing. Which is important at speed.

Currently on my Volvo I got a V1 radar detector, 4 head Laser Interceptor(2 up front, 2 and back) and Blinder m20 up front.
I have used a Blinder M20 alone, Lidatek LE30 single and dual transponders.
In march 2007 i was flown out to AZ for a laser jammer and radar detector testing event and saw the best to offer in each area
Currently eventhough I own a Laser Interceptor there have been problems with their heads and I have yet to see how customers with problems have been treated. I personally don't have any issues with my LI but I hardly ever turn it on.
My Blinder has been my most reliable jammer working wise but the performance of jammer leaves something less to be desired. I got a 1,950ft punchthrough slah speed reading on a silver dodge charger in AZ
Escort ZR3 suffers larger punchthroughs with shot at by the Stalker LZ1 and the rear jammer head doesn't jam anything
Lidatek is currently in the development stages of their new jammer. I personally wouldn't just use a le30 the performance isn't the best
Blinder M25/45 has had some good reviews but also some bad reviews
Currently the best most realiable jammer I have seen is the newest version of the Laser Pro Park LPP dual head....It will cost $800 but well worth it
Here is a video where I explain the basics of the blinder M20 back when i just had that on my car

Thanks for the quick & simple responses. I was concerned that the laser jammers would create false positives with the V1. Good to know.

The V1 generally has it's own false positives in detecting laser...Infinity's laser cruise control sets off it's laser all the time...thats why a jammer is someowhat good cause it alerts to true laser guns and the V1 should alert with it
I have probably MADE money off my V1, taking into consideration the tickets it has saved me.
Is laser really an issue on the rally? Around here NO ONE uses it...

I'm not sure. I would think that Texas being so far open & flat (in portions) would make for excellent use of the somewhat extended range of the laser. Does anyone know of a place that documents which metro areas use LADAR/LIDAR?

There's some info in the "Local & Regional" section at RadarDetector.net (http://www.radardetector.net/viewforum.php?f=39&sid=8c4ba0b3355274e9a3d59d8c26e60705).

Actually all the information was compiled in the Speedtrap Info forum which I use to update when i was an administrator there
Here is a thread explain the speed reading measures used per state:

Here is thread of the laser guns known to be in use in some states:

Yeah I forgot another thread to link to

This one is where there is an effort to try and compile all the speed enforcement areas in Town/Counties
Judging from the rally routes of the past the biggest concern is highways generally covered by state police

Yeah but remembering the start of last years rally, we had a bit of a problem with the SL UT police/ UT HP. They pulled EVERYONE over pretty much at once too.

What did the SL UT / UT HP do to everyone?
