And I thought I had a lot of gadgets with the GPS/Laptop/Wardriving, Radar, CB, 2-ways & Scanner. I just found a whole new list of shit to buy for next year.

$2795 isn't a bad price for the whole setup.

ZOMFG

The filme that inspired it all (http://www.wired.com/cars/coolwheels/multimedia/2007/10/vd_cannonball_rd)

Downloadable Link (http://download.mojoflix.com/Download/1217/1/Ferrari-Tearing-Through-Paris.wmv)

Puts Kart Vader and everything else to shame. I thought it was fscking amazing too!!! (as in along with Alex Roy the crazy guy that broke the trans-atlantic record).

Reminds me of Getaway in Stockholm & Ghost Rider. Great stuff!!

And just as I thought the film was Gyro Stabilized.

And this one too:

32 Hours 7 Minutes (http://www.32hours7minutes.com/trailers/32_large.mov) Another good one

LOL They {Team Polizei) "Pull Someone Over" (a fellow rallier) on the 2004 Gumball 3000 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lscPOo_98y0&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Egumball144%2Ecom%2Fvideo%2 F)

This is the conclusion to the soon to be released "32hours7minutes" film in which Roy is a producer.

Took 3 attempts.

Here are some videos of him explainning his set-up
YouTube - A tour of the Polizei M5
YouTube - 32 Hours 7 Minutes: Alex Roy explains mods to his BMW M5

I thought this trip was do able but the more i plan the harder it looks. My car has all the electronics. just needs a bit more modiciations but i'd probably just get a different car

Closest thing that I have done to this is beating my dad from Atlantic City to Lansing, MI. He took a jet and I drove.

Yes but getting a catheter removed is NEVER fun... I've had them due to surgeries for being hard core. Ya know because I can be rebuilt made stronger better faster.

Doubt he would but you never know. He hung with us at the start of the "great american run", he didnt run in it but he came up for the start. He told us he's is doing alot of things bookwise (other than the gumballs and anything in europe that he is known for)and would be out of the rally scene for a while, we didnt know what the book was at the time other than him saying there would be a major announcment soon. But you never know, he could pop up and run. We got pics of him in "biscuit" and he got pics of us in the M-5, he's a cool Bro. I'll feel him out when he comes here for the book signing and see what he says. He's gotts pick up his "Bro's from another Mo" shirt. We didnt have any extra's and he wanted one so he told us then he would be on a book tour soon and would hook up with us.

I have a feelin that since the book is out and it is allover the internet about what he did and the publicity it is drawing he isnt driving around the states for a while, unless he is in a car that no one knows who he is, which could be a possibility.

Iam more impressed with the Fed-Ex race than Iam with the record, now thats bookin! If y'all never heard of it, here it is http://www.gtspirit.com/alexroyvsfedex.pdf

That looks familiar! He came to BMWNYC to get a bunch of sensors replaced after one of his Gumball runs. I think that was 2003? Hooman got some pictures with him.
