Ok so I got a ticket in March in the lovely state of New York. I plead guilty because it was over 100 miles away from me home and it was easier for me to pay the fine then waste gas and a day of work, $255 bucks..fine. Now I get this bullshit letter in the mail saying I have to pay $150 every year for 3 years or $450 upfront because of some garbage law they have in NY. It says on the letter if I dont pay my NYS issued Drivers license (I am from CT) and/or driving privaleges in the state of NY will be suspended. Anyone of you guys have an experience with shit like this? Will I get arrested if I get pulled over in CT and get my shit suspended because of this shit in NY if I dont pay?

Yes I do. It's a form of a bad driver tax. I got a ticket in NY for 71 in a 50. The ticket was $175 and then there was a $300 bad driver taxed...
Yeah it's a bullshit law but NY is serious about speeding 15+mph over the limit.
I am gald the 6 points are going to be off my licence in march.
Soon as I got my ticket I researched all the fines I would have to pay and see if a lawyer was a good deal. But 300 for a lawyer and no guarantee of the fine being less I just plead guilty

My license is suspended in 3 other states and it does not affect my home state license. I don't get arrested or have to worry about anything because those states do not have reciprocity with MD. You will need to figure out if NY has reciprocity with CT
