I have used both a Navalert and Speed Cheetah GPS mirror

The GPS mirror is my favorite of the two due to the insane amount of features it comes with besides just a speed/red light camera alerts

I use the Cheetah with the Garmin Nuvi. Flawless. My favorite is the Super Toll Protector. No camera or video can catch your tag with it in use. In GA your tag only has to be visible from behind at 60 ft.

So free tolls?

I don't ride any tolls. If I did it would be at a non-traffic time; therefore, I haven't used it that way. We have tons of red light cameras and video. I assume tolls are the same technology as the red lights and it works great for those. I always wonder if descriptions of vehicles are being passed out for their Big Brother avoidance. I always feel more secure with The Super Toll Protector.

Tolls are a different technology...One thing that never stops to impress me is how fast the camera technology for these systems is progressing to counter these measures

And those plate covers are pretty much illegal almost everywhere and most likely can result in a large fine if the cop has an ego

Around here the fine is $60 dollars for license plate concellement. Also, the laws are vauge. You only have to be able to see the plate from 60ft behind the vehicle. The Super Toll Protector does that. In GA the cameras are made and run by Lockheed Martin not the police. If Lockheed does not get enough revenue from the camera they remove it. However, like Volvo said they are illegal in most states and it states that on the website.

also the cameras are shot from an angle which these place "covers" show up blurry. It still allows you from straight behind for a cop to see your plate with no problem.

There have instances where a cocky cop has tried to plant an obstruction of justice on a person with plate covers.

Get a GPS camera locator and you won't need to worry about it as long as you keep your database updated
