Chris do not get a B&B downpipe for your car. The UTEC will be a great mod though. Your MPG's shure do suck. I was around 16 on the rally and that was with no cruise and some WOT.

Nick - I''m thinkign FP green. I wonder what kind of mileage we can expect while maxing the car out at ~420 crank hp on the stock internals.

I may change my route. Lookin at the GT12 instead of the FP Green. The mileage shouldn't drop too much with a good tune. Mine is in horrible need of one of those.

Hahaha. What tires do you run in the winter? I'm probably going to get Blizzak LM-22 again, since they did amazingly on my m3 last winter.

I just have some good year all seasons. They are more than adequate with the AWD system. I was going through snow drifts over the cars hood woth no problems. The goodyears are alot cheaper than the blizzacks too.

I am ready to buy winter tires. I can get LM-22's for about $650, which I'm leaning towards being worth it, since I know how great they were on my m3. Was it still slippery with the all-seasons? How much did you pay?

The idea here is to get an H2 RECOVERY TEAM sticker, and drive around with a tow-strap, pulling out snow-plows and the like. Will all-seasons let me, or do you think the snows are worth it?

I wouldn't suggest doing that, it would put alot of strain on your car. I have pulled countless vehicles out of ditches with the Hummer, and one semi across a snow/mush/ice parking lot. With the hummer's weight and 12,000lb winch it was still rocking when pulling others out. When vehicles get stuck in snow it is like getting caught by a suction cup. The all seasons allowed me to go through snow drifts above the hood of my car. It never got squirly with out me provoking it. Here are some pics of the snow bank/drift.

Well, that is pretty absurd. I was mostly joking about pulling stuff out, but it sounds like hella fun with the H1. You said you got goodyear all-seasons? How much did they run you?

I got a deal, my buddy works at discount tire. It was around $400ish for all 4 installed. I don't remember the exact price, sorry. For my 2003 WRX I ran Kuhmo 712's in the winterand only got stuck once when I slid off the road into a snow bank over my roof. :( They did hinder brakeing and turning a little but it wasnt too bad. The AWD system is amazing on our cars.
