Damn, I thought I lived in a safe neighborhood. Spend lots of money, put in a surveilance system, have a gate put on your property, and you still aren't safe.

This evening about an hour ago, some idiot decided to do a drive by shooting to a house about 4 doors down. Took some shots at a passing car, and at the house. We believe that it was random, but you never know.

Cops are out here to see if anyone heard or saw anything. Problem is, I have 170 feet from my front door down the driveway before I see the street, so no luck.

Guess I have to buy my own private island now.

They found some shell casings. There are 7 custom built houses on this street. No one was able to get any kind of video of the incident. There was an eye witness who happened to be out walking her dogs at the time. Not sure what is going to happen from here. Guess I will be carrying my 38 from this point forward....

Gotta say, if they do it again, they picked the wrong houses from what I recall of your next door neighbor. They just might get shot back at.. and with a lot more firepower.. LOL
