I don't understand how people spend $x,xxx modifying a car but won't spend a hundred or so on a good fire extinguisher.

When my 20th AE GTI went up in flames I had an extinguisher but didn't use it. I had a shop put it back to stock so I could sell it and they didn't connect a fuel line properly so poof! up in smoke.
I wasn't about to try to save the car and wait 8 months while they try to repair it.

Oil cooler leak followed by fire if I had to guess by the looks of where the fire is.
