So I took the bike to the track for a few runs... consistently ran 10.2's at 140 something... then.. the last run of the night... Filled up with 100 Octane. flipped the switch to 'red' which armed the VERY aggressively timed race gas software and took one last crack at it.

Cold, dense air.. a warm track.. sticky tires... picture perfect launch.

R/T .521
60': 1.803
1/8: 6.606 @ 121.58
1/4: 9.744 @ a BLISTERING 158.40

holy wow. wow. wow.

Witnesses say the bike carried the front wheel down the whole track, except during my shifts. Now I know what it feels like to be on a shuttle launch.

One of my buddies got video of the run I hope. I'll see if i can get it. Until then.. I have pics of the trophy and timeslip when I upload them. lol.

Seth has heard me open that bike up once on an interstate here in Rochester. I think he's a believer. heheh

Those things are the shit... Unfortunately I'm probably too big for most of them (weight & heightwise) otherwise I would be rockin one too. :)

Damn, Awais. What does the c5 run 60' What 1/4 mile time/trap?

STi would take it 1/4 mile as well, but quickly get passed :) Congrats, Aiman.

I tried to take a pic of the timeslip, but my cameraphone sucks. Here is the trophy tho. I'll scan up the timeslip later today or something.

I seriously was shaking so hard after that run, my nerves were a mess... I drove back to the paddocks to pick up my timeslip and trophy.. then I rode straight home and got wrecked.

I don't believe I will ever throw that switch into the 'red' again.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW

What kind of bike is this?!?!?!? And what the hell did you do to it?!?!?

158 trap........if that were a car you'd be required to have a 'chute 8mph ago.... cool :) 121 in the 1/8th... I can't even imagine what that feels like. Congrats, that is VERY impressive!

It's a ...slightly modified... 2004 Honda CBR1000RR. Lets just say that I can load ECU software with the throw of a switch now. :)
