Should I even worry about repainting the car before the rally? I have 2 dented fenders and a couple assorted parking lot dings.
I hear there mgiht be an offroad excursion? Should I put the wide ass mud flaps on to prevent flying rocks??

Definitely don't waste your time/money. Paint it afterwards if you wish.
Sure, use mudflaps if you want.

You can, but a cross country rally kicks the paints ass. If you take proper steps you can prevent any damage, ie 3m clearbra and lots-o-tape, but if I were you, I would wait.

Waiting it is. Sweet that speeds up the motor swap :)

No need to repaint. Travelling 3000+ miles on highways, through rain, grit, and dust, is not exactly nice to the paint job.

Jeff's GT3 and paul's Sti came back with practically stripped front bumpers.
