Hello all!
I have been extremely interested in doing this after see what a blast this is. I am a member over at NYSpeed and that is where I really became interested in doing something like this.
I have always want to do a something such as a coast to coast drive, and this just seems perfect. I have a passion for cars and love seeing, doing, enjoying new things. Little about me, I'm 23 and moved from Buffalo, NY down to Houston, TX. Did it for work, and love it both down here and back at home.
Little about the cars:
I currently own two 1997s.
1997 Corvette
Lil motor work
6 speed
Nothing too fancy
1997 BMW M3
Sedan
Auto
Daily driver
Vette and my old Jeep

Ha I guess it would seem so. The M3 is the best most nimble daily I have ever owned. I might start using it as a fun little track car for the fiancee also.
The vette is more of a raw in your face monster of a car. LoL It has a big 'o cam in it, is jumpy at anything less then 1500 rpm's, and gives old people heart attacks. (Well I hope not, but it does frighten them.)
I actually had a "bro" down here in Houston pull up next to me at a light in his 525 bmw and "inform" me that something was severally wrong with my car. His extensive automobile knowledge told him that there must be a problem "in my motor". I thanked him, and told him he was a real "life saver".

I wanted it that way! This way the fiancee/parents/visitors can't mess up the tranny!
The next mod I'll do to the M3 is selling it and buying either a new 4 door M3 or a M5 :)
Someone got stupid with the cheese wizzzzz.

The trend around here is to sell the vette and buy a bmw.

Love the new M3's (if you decide to get one), but they aren't any faster in a straight line than the e39's with a couple mods ;)

Or the new 335!
I use the vette when I want to go fast :P
I really like the 335 as a sleeper though. De badge and simplify.

Let me tell you, the Cougars LOOOOVE it... lol
Plus the fact that I can't really grow any good facial hair keeps me looking youthful.
I love seeing the expressions on peoples' faces when I pull up to a light or down shift next to someone with an open window. Awh..
It is a double edge sword of types, I've been pulled over and asked by the jelly if I sell drugs. :(
I ask them if they sell do-nuts.. and laugh. Once cop gave me a 4 mph over for that comment.. oh well... Usually I play nice so I get a chance of getting let go.
Drove behind a Vanquish today on the way into work, which got me to look at them online. Gosh I want.

I like to tease vette drivers. Vettes seem to be quite popular among the mid-life crisis crowd. :)
