Definatly get a GN if you go for muscle. $500 will get you into the 11's reliably AND they are going up in value like woah.

Never made it, always have issues going to the track (people, weather, car, etc).
I have taken out many C5 vettes, modifed RX7's, mustangs, etc. though.
Once I get the boost issue fixed on it and re-tune it, the combo is good for mid 11's (3"tbe, ta49, 40lb injectors, walbro 340 pump (hotwired), adj fuel press regulator, alky, ls1 maf, big intake, and 2800 stall converter).

the best thing to do is bring it home and put it in the driveway while she is sleeping, then leave a trail of roses to it.

If you want a late model C3. Pick up a '78 Pace Car with the L82 and a 4 speed.

Because they are worth it.
-or-
Pick up an L48 w/ 3 or 4 speed and swap an LS1 wth T56 in there.

Christ that's ugly.
Other than a '62, or a '64 I have no desire to own any vette other than a C5 or C6.

'60 > '62. even though the '62 has the 327
'63 split window, or '67 427/435hp or '67 Z06 > '64
you are also forgetting the L88 C3's, ZR1's, LT6's, and both generations of grand sports.

I just don't have $300K to spend on a car I actually looked at this site when I was searching. The car I am looking at is in a dealership in Atlanta, not too far away. I asked Alex to go look at the car for me to see if it is worth the money.

Silver Ann is the 78. I like the 80 - 81 or 82. Built on Spoiler. Have found a few around here that I like. Even found a nice Green / Silver one in Arizona I may go for.

I did forget the ZR1's, that is true.

'78 is the most valueable coupe C3. Hence the reason that I am trying to talk you into one. You will be able to sell a '78 quicker and it will become more valuable than the others after it.
if you like the flush spoiler, go for an '81. The crossfire injection on the '82s is pure shit.

Dale, let's get you in a Gallardo for a little while. Call me and I can set something up for you. If you need help with anything in Atlanta feel free to ask.
Thanks,
Ed
