I Just came across revmat from a link Chaos sent me...

I've been a member of many forums over the years, so I figured i'd sign up and check things out.

I'd say I'm best known throughout the forums I frequent for this car:

My 97 Probe GTS, I had the car boosted and it was a blast...

I still have it, but its in pieces waiting for some free time.

To fill the void, I picked up a 99' Corvette...(ive got a thing for red and black)

I've got a few other cars, but this is my daily driver unless it gets realllly ugly out.

I've owned a whole lot of vehicles in my short life, I like to change it up and have some fun. The probe has stuck around through 30 or so others and the Vette isnt going anywhere either.

Anyway, I'll stick around if I like things here...I like to be a contributing member to any forum I'm on. So, hopefully I can post some things that you guys find useful

It's amazing how much mockery you get driving a vette.

most people just tell me i'm not old enough for it, or that i'm compensating for something.

i'm about forty years too young, and since i'm done growing at 5' 3" maybe I am compensating "short man complex" maybe?

I used to have a C5 too... Got this 50th Anniversary Z06 off Ebay and drove it from Talahasse to New York, to Los Angeles... It was one hell of a ride... Now I drive a C6 though:

I bought a Corvette because it was the fastest, best looking, best handling car I could afford; its not the fastest thing out there (although now that it has a supercharger I have yet to find something that can beat it), definitely not the best car, but for what it costs I think its tough to beat... Penis and mid life crisis jokes aside :roflpicard:

Actually it helped a ton! Its like a baby's arm holding an apple now.... you don't know how many girls have asked me "omg does like a smurf live in that mushroom?"

The main reason I purchased my vette was to be a pure performer. I already concluded that I will, throughout my life invest entirely too much money into the car, in order to make it the ultimate street machine.

Nice blown C6, is that an LS2 or LS3 car? I'll give you a run for fun :) But my baby is on the bottle. Do you have any dyno numbers? Is it a built bottom end?

I won't go into performance much in this thread, but welcome all Corvette owners!! :)

I hear you on spending too much money on mods; my first subaru had 3x what it was worth in mods, my STI had a couple grand, and I stopped counting for this C6.
Mine is an LS2 on a stock block. It put down 600HP at the rear wheels on a daily driver pump gas tune; I'd be down for a fun run; hope you are running a huge shot to keep up :p
