...just wanted to say hi. My car may not be up to par with some of yours, but it will haul well enough soon enough. I would like to go on a rally sooner or later, maybe the 2008 one if I have the extra funds. Here are some pictures of my car.

Not sure if anyone has a Honda on here, but if so, I deal for MFactory and have extremely low prices, so hit me up. It's decently quick, but I'm bored of it. Going to finish up this car with CP 11.5:1 forged pistons, then start with my new project.

Hey compuvision02, welcome to the boards. We are always happy to see future ralliers express interest around here, but I have to be honest. We haven't had good experiences with civics in the past. Specifically a little SI with tiny brakes and atrocious driving skills. That guy was responsible for the one and only fender bender we have ever had on any rally. Funny enough...we were all kind of expecting it from him.
Anyway, even though we know nothing about you, and you could be a stellar driver, if anyone starts teasing you - that's why :)
clean car btw, I used to be a honda girl myself.

Well, there are always hated cars on boards, usually because of a very slim number of drivers; some hate Evolutions, some hate Mustangs, some hate Corvettes, some hate BMWs, some hate Hondas. If I get hate on for owning a Civic, that's rediculous. I've owned a few different cars, so I learn to drive a good range of types of drives and power. 12.6 second 1998 Trans Am, 2000 Impreza RS, 2002 Focus, 1993 Civic EX, my car, then my sickly new project. And I've driven tons of Evolutions, WRXs, BMWs, Mercedes, etc.

well it's mostly that we hate tiny civic brakes that don't stop in time. Or civic drivers who don't appreciate that they have little front rotors/brake drums in the rear, and figure it's ok to ride people's asses.
But as I said, this is not necessarily a reflection on you...I'm just telling you what the last civic guy did.

Haha, yeah! I am well aware that my brakes are horrid, they are like 7" rotors in the front with a pussy caliper and the rear drums. Full GS-R brakes should be on the way, still not magically, but a hell of a lot better. If I didn't want to run 13" Lensos for slicks, instead of my 15" Koseis, I would go with a Wilwood big brake kit.

That is around the area I am aiming for, low 400fwhp on pump gas, low 500fwhp on C16.
Thanks. :)
Picture of the Bogarts? And price?

S4's FTW! I was about to get a V6 TT S4, but decided the year and mileage I was looking into was a bad idea for a daily.

I might as well throw benz's in too, since there has never been one on the rally.

did you happen to attend Penn State last year? looks like the same car in the parking lot where my dad worked.
oh yea im a ricer but not nearly as much as neal and hooman
yep im a ricer undercover :snky: but im allowed to be since my car eats pk's e46 and hooman's evo without even trying
but this civic posted has zero rice... very clean setup with a/c - Love it
My last eg was basically the same exact setup with no a/c... still regret selling a lot of my little hoopties

Nope, my buddy Andrew's car, most likely. He is riding on polished Rota Slipstreams, Datum tow hooks, and believe no carbon fiber.

I will be rolling a 60 trim soon. :) 400-500fwhp, most likely 500 on race gas, since my build isn't too serious, but serious enough that I almost guarantee those numbers, 400fwhp on pump gas. Will be taking air conditioning out, since I will be getting a new daily driver, most likely a 1992-1995 sedan.

Yeah, some people hate them, some love them. Thanks for the honesty, but not bashing. I like them, probably would be happier with something else, but $500 with decent tire isn't bad at all. Supposedly a set was sold for $800 the other day, so I could intentionally turn around and profit if I found something better.

Sold it; showed it in two days, gone in five. Moving on!
