Hi everybody; I'm new here;
Used to live in California, but now I'm in Jersey... Trying to meet some fellow gearheads here. I LOVE roadtrips; back when I was going to University in Upper Peninsula Michigan I drove to Florida, NY and Montreal. When I lived in North Carolina I drove from Raleigh to Talahasse, to New York, to Chicago, Denver, and ended up in LA. My trip here from LA took 3 days via Detroit and I also did Tampa - LA in two days when I bought the car...
Here is my ride:

Vortech makes it extra fun :D I did the install myself (30 hours); I like working on cars almost as much as driving them. Almost :)

Thanks... Here you go: Its a 1150CFM Vortech V2 Si-Trim SQ:

Its very stealthy; no gauges, no exterior mods, stock exhaust, etc... But you can see the front mount intercooler if light shines through the front mesh the right way:

I'm not a huge vette fan, but I'm impressed.

Thank you :thewave: ... I've never been a big corvette fan either; always had imports before and thought the car was crude... I must say now that I have one I do like it though; if nothing else, it was cheap to make silly power and it is comfy for long trips :rofl:

Wowie when I saw you drive by I had no idea it was blown! I can vouch for how sexy it looks rolling by though. I was actually trying to pull up next to you and point to my revmat.ch sticker but traffic interfered.
You should definitely come out to the meet tomorrow/today though at applebees.

Hehehe... That's the idea... Completely stock exterior, stock exhaust, no gauges, and the front mount intercooler is hidden behind a mesh... The car has butterflies on the exhaust that are actuated by intake manifold boost, so it is really quiet too untill I get on it:

And he revmat.ch sticker was the first thing I noticed about your car :)

Yeah I used to have some sexy BBS wheels on it but I sold them in prep for selling the car, I'd like to get something different carwise but it's such a bitch to sell with this market. So I'm basically waiting to sell my car before I really start looking, since I've got a truck I can drive around until then. Maybe a bike or something

I dunno, I think the Mini is a pretty nice car... If I were you I think I would enjoy it for a bit longer, maybe do a few mods to keep it fresh and interesting? Why do you want to sell it anyways; what would you get instead?
I have a friend who wants to sell his WRX and get a Mini :)
